I was so disappointed with these. My shoe size is generally a 7.5, so I ordered both the 7 and 8 in the Athena. I already own Sanuk flip flops (size 8), so I was expecting the same comfortable feel. Instead, my big toe kept catching on the inside of the shoe's hefty front seam. They were big enough -- that wasn't the problem -- it was just that the seam sort of hung down into the shoe. Loved how they looked. Hated how they felt. Both sizes returned. Bummer.

When I first received these, they did feel a little tight. But thinking that they will probably stretch, I kept them and gave them a try. They fit perfect after I wore them a time or two. I am in love w/ these shoes. Very comfy and stylish! I usually wear a size 7 or 7.5 in most shoes, and I did get these in a 7. Don't go up a size or you will have them flopping off feet once they break in and stretch. Highly recommend these shoes! Love, love, love them!

As another customer stated, I love the look but hate the feel of these shoes. I own another pair of Sanuk's which I absolutely love and fit perfectly. I ordered the same size (7) in these, and was disappointed to find they do not fit at all. They feel at least a size too small. They also look more like a dark denim color vs black to me. Sorry to have to give these a bad review.

If you want to wear flip flops year round, these are the shoes for you. They have the same comfort and support as a flip flop, but they cover your feet so your toes don't get cold in the winter. I wear these shoes all the time for lounging around and running errands. The only thing I disklike about them is the "lip" formed by the sole and the fabric top... I sometimes trip over this.

Great shoes! I'm a flip flop minded person, but these are great shoes when it's too cold for flip flops. Can wear with or without socks. Looks great with shorts, capri's and pants.

I love these comfy shoes! I would wear them all the time if I could! I might order a size smaller next time and I will definitely be ordering another pair! Zappos is awesome!
