About Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz Skateboards and Cruzers. Dig deep into the history of skateboarding and Santa Cruz™ skateboards was there. In the '70s, it was born from a simple idea to manufacture boards for the up-and-coming skateboard craze that was sweeping surf-starved communities across the coasts. In 1974, Jim Phillips, now a legend of the skate industry, joined the ranks and created the basic graphics that would adorn Santa Cruz boards for decades to come.
In the '80s and '90s, Santa Cruz began to produce legendary boards, designs that would help usher in a new wave of popularity for skateboarding. In 1985, Phillips drew the Screaming Hand, which not only became an iconic Santa Cruz image, but an image that would become nearly synonymous with the entire skateboard industry. To this day, the Screaming Hand can be found on Santa Cruz decks, nearly untouched from when it was first created.
To this day, Santa Cruz has remained an absolute icon in the industry. Through the '70s, '80s, '90s, and to present day, Santa Cruz skateboards has been there, supplying the sickest decks to the population, and doing it in their own unique way. My 9 year old son got this for Christmas! He loves it, the wheels are perfect, big and fat, but good for turning. He can cruise, go down hills, easy to ride, wide enough for good balance, the color is perfect, cool yet fun! The top is rough so he does not slide. He rides it everyday. Awesomeb board. I searched everywher and this price was right and it came the next day!

This board is excellent. I purchased the red one and I cannot put it down. I am a pretty big guy so this board is definitely big guy approved. I recommend this one to anybody just wanting to cruise the streets. It is smooth, fast, and stylish.
This board is awesome. I used to ride boards just like this back in the 80's so the appeal was instantaeous. I've tried riding the new double-tail boards, but they are more for skate parks than the streets. This board can go anywhere. And the concave design makes it stable as all get out. Not to mention the graphics. Typically you will stand on a plain black board, unless you customize it with grip tape. This board just looks like you are standing on some sort of Tiki plank. So cool. And when you show up to places with this under you, people notice. Yeah, some snicker, but they're just jealous you're ridin' in style. Overall, I am ecstatic with my purchase. And I've already got my eye on one or two more.

I haven't been on a skateboard for almost 20 years and I decided to get boards for my nephew and me for birthday presents. This board is well made and easy to ride. I was amazed by how quickly I was able to pick it back up with this board. The wheels are smooth and it has a solid feel to it. I'm a big guy and this board "fits" me perfectly. It's easy to control and it reminds me of the style of skateboards popular in the 1980's. Retro, very cool, high quality, and easy to balance/control. Best of all, the board arrived within two days of placing my order. Zappos rocks!

Awesome board...I went to pick it up at the UPS; I could not stop looking at it while I was driving - so be careful, it's an awesome board!! It looks like candy in real life!
This was the exact set-up my little boy wanted, so Santa had to come through! The Zappos price was the best available, shipping was lightning-fast, we were stoked, end of story.
