These shoes are amazing! I thought they were cute when I purchased them (the vegan thing was the biggest selling point) but not a day goes by where I don't receive a compliment on them. Not only are they a universal crowd-pleaser, but they're incredibly comfortable. They've handled long days and snow (so far) very well. They are the best shoe purchase I've ever made and well worth the price tag.

This was my first pair of Sanitas so I was a little scared of the price. Since this purchase I have worn them every day. Definitely worth the money. I Look forward to purchasing my next pair.

I love these shoes. I love the little bit of funk they bring to ordinary scrubs and I have yet to wear these (even with jeans) when I did not receive a compliment. They are a tiny bit tighter than some of my other pair of Sanita clogs, but I assume that is due to the material. As another reviewer already pointed out, the material is not the least bit water resistant so don't wear them on a rainy day. Otherwise, these shoes are durable and comfortable and my favorite Sanita clogs thus far.

I love Dansko clogs. I love the Sanita series even more. I own many pairs and with all the funky new patterns coming out, Sanitas can easily become an addiction. However, I will never buy another Vegan Sanita clog. I live outside NYC. My husband and I spent this weekend in Manhattan. The weather was horrid today: freezing rain with blustery winds. I was in shock when I started to feel my toes getting wet and icy. I'd never experienced my feet getting wet while wearing Danskos or Sanitas before. This was a first and I was not happy. If you live in the North East, you want a cozy Sanita clog. Beware: your feet will get wet in snow and rain, even light relentless cold and icy rain. Yuck. There are Vegan friendly waterproof materials that are well suited for the Sanita Vegan series. Please correct this design blunder.

Great shoe! Comfortable and eye-catching. These were my first pair of Sanitas, but likely not my last! I wanted to try the 'real-Dansko' and loved this pattern. So far my experience is great; the only time I had a problem was when I stood in line for 3 hours, my feet started to get a little tired, but I can't imagine a shoe that would have avoided that. The odd thing was, as soon as we were done with the line and started walking again, my feet started to feel better. Now that's a good shoe!
Additional Brand Information
Sanita
Since 1907, Sanita has embraced the Danish word “hygge” (pronounced hue-guh) in the construction of each and every pair of Sanita clogs. Loosely translated, “hygge” means “making everything cozy”. Clean design, natural materials and fine craftsmanship are just a few things that make Sanita clogs so special. Christian Andersen, Sanita’s founder, utilized these three things to help make Sanita what it is today. Andersen left his career as a farmer forever when he began creating clogs out of wood. After a half-century of building the business, Christen and his son Johannes closed their successful store and completely devoted themselves to designing and distributing footwear. This risky maneuver paid off in the early 1980’s.
1983 marked a definitive year for Sanita – that’s the year that Christian discovered a factory in Italy that made cast soles out of polyurethane. This innovate new technology allowed Sanita to shape clog bottoms to fit the anatomical shape of the foot. With heel, arch and toe support and added shock absorption, the polyurethane heel combined with the upturned toe of the Sanita clog provided unmatched comfort and launched each and every step with a simple rolling motion. Thus, the Sanita Original Collection (then the San-Flex) was born and is still made in Europe.
Clogs have been a worker’s choice for years. Anyone who stands on their feet all day knows the benefits of wearing a finely crafted clog. More recently, clogs have become a fashion statement as well and can be seen on the feet of the fashionable world-wide. For the past 25 years, Sanita has continued to innovate with superior design, materials and hand-crafted European construction. Other Sanita collections such as the Leisure Collection, Occupational Collection, Wave Collection and Vegan Collection cater to the specific needs of the Sanita customer and have helped Sanita further separate itself from other clog companies.

The shoes are distinctive. I received compliments within the hour of the first wearing. There is no stretch so far. My arches are high so the top of my foot pushes a little against the top of the shoe. The foot bed is comfortable.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable. (The arch support is perfect.) I have a severely degenerated disc in my back and a second that is moderately degenerated. I also suffer from plantar fasciitis in both feet. On top of this, I'm a vegan and don't wear leather. Unfortunately, I'm also on my feet all day. Finding shoes that accommodate all of these issues is nearly impossible. These shoes do it. I wore them for the first time this week. I was on my feet at least 12 hours a day for 5 days in a row and suffered no back problems and no foot problems. I've never had this experience, even with my Earth shoes. I only wish the design was a bit more hip, but I can sacrifice a little fashion for so much comfort.
