I could not agree more with the person who previously reviewed these shoes! I read the review, but still ordered my usual European size. Big mistake! I cannot stress enough...if ordering these, order a size up! I have worn Danskos, but these shoes run small! Thanks to Zappos and their wonderful service, I was able to return these shoes quickly and reorder my appropriate size right away! I'm awaiting to receive my other pair tomorrow...just in time for my weekend shift! Yay! Because these shoes are super cute!

Should have believed the previous reviews. These run at least one size small if not two. I have been wearing Danskos and Sanitas for over 10 years and have always been a 40 but, alas, these are way too small so back they go. Too bad 'cause they are super cute.

Not quite as bright of a pink as in the photos, but still cute. I'm glad I read the other reviews because I ordered a 38 (I've always been a 37 in european sizing) and it fits great.

I love these shoes. I have gotten too many compliments. I'm a nurse and the comfort is unbelievable. For me, the fit was true to size.

About Sanita
Since 1907, Sanita® has embraced the Danish word "hygge" (pronounced hue-guh) in the construction of each and every pair of Sanita clogs. Loosely translated, "hygge" means "making everything cozy". Clean design, natural materials and fine craftsmanship are just a few things that make Sanita clogs so special. Christian Andersen, Sanita's founder, utilized these three things to help make Sanita what it is today. Andersen left his career as a farmer forever when he began creating clogs out of wood. After a half-century of building the business, Christen and his son Johannes closed their successful store and completely devoted themselves to designing and distributing footwear. This risky maneuver paid off in the early 1980's.
1983 marked a definitive year for Sanita - that's the year that Christian discovered a factory in Italy that made cast soles out of polyurethane. This innovate new technology allowed Sanita to shape clog bottoms to fit the anatomical shape of the foot. With heel, arch and toe support and added shock absorption, the polyurethane heel combined with the upturned toe of the Sanita clog provided unmatched comfort and launched each and every step with a simple rolling motion. Thus, the Sanita Original Collection (then the San-Flex) was born and is still made in Europe.
Clogs have been a worker's choice for years. Anyone who stands on their feet all day knows the benefits of wearing a finely crafted clog. More recently, clogs have become a fashion statement as well and can be seen on the feet of the fashionable world-wide. For the past 25 years, Sanita has continued to innovate with superior design, materials and hand-crafted European construction. Other Sanita collections such as the Leisure Collection, Occupational Collection, Wave Collection and Vegan Collection cater to the specific needs of the Sanita customer and have helped Sanita further separate itself from other clog companies.

I wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered! A 37 is what I always wear but not in this shoe. It was way too small. So order a size bigger!

This shoe fit much tighter than the Dansko M width size 39 that I normally wear. I had to return them because I was afraid they would not stretch out. Will go back to Dansko.

I'm not a huge fan of the look (thus the 3 stars for style), but these clogs are comfy! I wear a 6-1/2 in heels and flats and a 7-1/2 running shoe. Size 37 works for me. The black patent is easy to care for compared to the cabrio and nubuck. Sanitas are hand-made in Europe vs the Chinese-made Danskos (since their split), which is why I chose Sanita.

Love my Sanitas! Everyone wants to know what they are and where I got them! The big thing for me is comfort--I work in retail and literally stand all day. These work great for that! And they're stylish!! If you want these there is nothing I would say that should be holding you back. Except what color? What design?

I loved these shoes and ordered a size up as other reviews suggested. Strangely the right shoe was half a size bigger than the left. You could actually tell just by looking at them that one was bigger. I returned and got a new pair and still had the same problem. I think there is a quality control issue with this batch of shoes. I'll wait a few months and try again.

Yet another disappointment -- like almost all Dansko clogs these do not come in a narrow width. After all these years, there are only 3 clogs available -- black, brown and cordovan; I personally know at least 20 women with narrow feet who are shut out. What's the matter with this?

I bought these to replace existing cabrio professionals which seem to be out-of-stock or discontinued? Originally ordered the 41 which is what I had but they seemed too small, so I got the 42 and they're great. My toes were rubbing on the ends of the 41s. I usually wear a 10, 10.5 in athletic shoes and Keens. I love these shoes in Seattle, because they lift me up out of the puddles a bit and keep my feet dry. Plus they look great! Finally, thanks to Zappos for overnighting me the 42 to try!
