Great shoe! Runs narrower than a Dansko narrow which is just what I need. It also seems to be a little lighter and less clunky looking than my Danskos.

This shoe size (42)was listed as being equivalent to a US 11.5-12, I always wear US 11, but decided to go one size up - my toes hit the front, no way can I wear them! I am a nurse doing 12 hour shifts in a hospital and was intrigued by the other nurses who recommended them, but knew right away they are not for me.

I couldn't wait to get these really cool pink shoes, but the fit was just off for me. I'm spoiled with the Danskos that feel great right out of the box. I'm going back to the narrow Dansko patent.

I love these shoes...they are the perfect fit for a true narrow foot. My foot lacks width and depth and these are great. I have two Dansko narrows from before they started manufacturing in China. They fit pretty well but I cannot wear the Dansko current narrows...they are still huge. Try these if you have been hoping Sanita would make a narrow. I love mine. I hope they will offer some of the cute new prints and designs in narrows too. I was just thrilled they did the patents. Yeah!

About Sanita
Since 1907, Sanita® has embraced the Danish word "hygge" (pronounced hue-guh) in the construction of each and every pair of Sanita clogs. Loosely translated, "hygge" means "making everything cozy". Clean design, natural materials and fine craftsmanship are just a few things that make Sanita clogs so special. Christian Andersen, Sanita's founder, utilized these three things to help make Sanita what it is today. Andersen left his career as a farmer forever when he began creating clogs out of wood. After a half-century of building the business, Christen and his son Johannes closed their successful store and completely devoted themselves to designing and distributing footwear. This risky maneuver paid off in the early 1980's.
1983 marked a definitive year for Sanita - that's the year that Christian discovered a factory in Italy that made cast soles out of polyurethane. This innovate new technology allowed Sanita to shape clog bottoms to fit the anatomical shape of the foot. With heel, arch and toe support and added shock absorption, the polyurethane heel combined with the upturned toe of the Sanita clog provided unmatched comfort and launched each and every step with a simple rolling motion. Thus, the Sanita Original Collection (then the San-Flex) was born and is still made in Europe.
Clogs have been a worker's choice for years. Anyone who stands on their feet all day knows the benefits of wearing a finely crafted clog. More recently, clogs have become a fashion statement as well and can be seen on the feet of the fashionable world-wide. For the past 25 years, Sanita has continued to innovate with superior design, materials and hand-crafted European construction. I love this clog! I have to have the narrow, and so far they have been made in only very traditional (and dark) colors -- this bright fuchsia is fabulous! I work as a Dental Hygienist, in the north and it is a great burst of fun color to wear with regular scrubs. The fit is superb, and is a bit less bulky looking than other clogs I have tried. They also "clomp" less, I think due to the fact I am not sliding around in the foot bed. I like them so much I will want to wear them outside of work!

Nice shoe, but I will return this one: My regular size is 9.5 AA; the 40 narrow was OK in width but not long enough in the big toe. Will try 41 narrow.

These clogs were perfect right out of the box. I have one old pair of Sanita narrows that I have worn to pieces, they are still comfortable, but beat up after many years. With my narrow, bony feet, I have not been able to find a replacement pair. The Samita oiled leathers were too wide, too deep. And Dansko narrows do not fit at all. I had about given up when these patents arrived. I could not ask for a better fit, and they are pretty, too. This is one pair of shoes that I could and will wear just about any time! I hope you like them as much as I do. And Sanita, please keep making these!

As a data point, based on other reviews I ordered this in a 40 although I wear a 39 in my usual Danskos. They were too long, but just the right width (not narrower than Danskos). But I love them! I am sad to let go of them long enough to accomplish the exchange for the 39. I need these shiny red shoes I can walk in! Wah.
