Sanctuary Reviews
Not happy with these. They are linen & hang really weird on my body. Doesn't look as good as picture. Also a little itchy.
I love these shorts! They look good either rolled once (as shown in photo) or unrolled. They are not too short, but they are not like bermudas, either.
Great shorts but really weird fit. These shorts are as well made as others said but the sizing was so strange. I usually wear a 28 and that is what I purchased. But they were tiny - not just tight but 3 inches away from possibly closing. So I returned them and ordered a 29 and a 30. The 29 fit comfortably, maybe even too loosely. Either the 28 was a mislabeled 26 or there is a 4 inch difference between these sizes. Either way - I had to deduct stars.
Love these! Bought a 31, and at first I thought they may be a little snug but they have a nice amount of stretch so I was glad they came with a belt! Very flattering and looked hot with wedge sandals.
I absolutely love these shorts! I don't usually feel comfortable wearing shorts but these are very flattering and comfortable. They are very high quality and have washed great. I like that I can roll them all the way down when I want more coverage or roll them up when I want to go shorter. I have two pairs (the aqua is awesome and the army green). I am back for another! Well worth the cost. I am a size 10 and the Size 32 fits great.
I have four pair. What else can I say? These slacks are dressy or casual. I could wear them all summer.
These jeans are so comfy and awesome! I got the rhubarb. The color is not as bright as the picture (a bit more rustic) but still I'm obsessed with them. I'm between 27/28. I got the 28. They are low cut so they hit my waist at a lower, wider point. They are stretchy though, which is nice, but don't get baggy after wearing them which I appreciate.
These are great shorts, can wear them rolled up or down. Seem to run slightly large (like a half size) so if you're between sizes order down.
I have trouble finding pants that fit and these aren't bad. I wish the rise was a little higher (I'm 54), but it's not as low as some. It gaps a bit in the back. I am 5'7", 128 lbs, and I bought a 28 and a 29. 29 is my usual size, but they are a little big in the waist. I ended up keeping the 29s though because the 28s were too short and the rise was even lower. Also the 29s felt better in the seat and thighs. I have a short torso and long legs, so I usually have to buy tall pants online and then pay to have them shortened. (I get annoyed when people complain about pants being too long -- at least you can do something about it; if they're too short you're out of luck!) The description for these pants said they are 34" long, but I measured them and the 28s were only 33 inches long (jet black color). So it must depend on the size. The 29s were 34", I think they shrank a little in the dryer so they are just barely long enough with low heels on me. I like the style and fabric. I did have to remove the tags with a seam ripper because they scratched my skin (I don't tuck my shirts in now that I'm middle aged and have a muffin top). I think they are kind of pricey and the belt is a waste. Still, it's so hard to find anything like this in stores I will probably order more in other colors.
I absolutely love this (mint)skirt! I actually bought it at the store but I have to say I would buy it again and again. I got so many compliments! You can see through it but only up to the middle of my thighs and with nude underwear you can't see anything (maybe you can assume it, but nothing more). I am 5'9" tall and size S fits perfect. It looks amazing with my Lucky Brand Wedges and an ivory silky loose top.
I tried them on as soon as I got them and was very disappointed to find out that they were not properly made. On my right leg the seaming did not go straight down but curved to the front of the leg and completely visible. For how expensive these jeans are I never thought that would be an issue. I am sending them back.
I agree with other reviewers, these are great! I thought the sizing was the same as the capris I have. Fabric and fit are very flattering!
I love Sanctuary shorts. The inseam is a nice length for wearing on errands and regular life (as opposed to showing serious inner thigh like at the beach!) I got the salmon color, it is a rich overdyed slightly faded look. These fit out of the bag great, but as the day wore on they stretched and I felt like I needed to wash them to return them to shape, so you might consider sizing down. I think Sanctuary shorts run smaller than their pants, but maybe that is just me!
Runs at least one size small. I normally wear a 28 or 29; the 29 was too tight through the hips and legs. They also run short. I can often get away with a 34 inch inseam if I wear flats, but these were not 34 inches.
These are nice crops. I like the flare at the bottom and probably will not roll them up because they would look too short on me. I own several Sanctuary pants and crops and love them all. They are true to size.
These shorts are super cute! I am 5'6" 140lbs and the size 29 was perfect. The color is bright and the fit is very flattering.
