Combining a strong passion for world travel with a tremendous love for hats is what led San Diego-based friends Andrew Bleecher and Teresa Gardner to create the Original Cotton Crotchet Hat® that launched their business in 1993.

I bought this hat in black last summer. It's a great hat. It covers me shoulder to shoulder. It's as packable as they say it is. My only gripe was I wish it mad the adjustable strap like some of the others from SDHC. Because its so wide the brim picks up small gusts and will blow off. The adjustable strap around the base of he crown would've helped.
