A great hat to pack for a beach vacation. The brim has a 'relaxed' look - it doesn't stand out uniformly. The picture is pretty accurate, actually. You can see the brim has little bumps and ridges. It's just the look, and it works.

So I like this hat but I don't love it. It's a fairly safe online purchase for me because I do pretty well in beach style hats and beanies and such. The "bucket" is a little voluminous but too much; love the wire brim so I can construct my brim; big brim great for the beach/sun. It's meant to look a little crumpled but that just means it can be packed. I would order it again, but I don't think it's the "sexiest" hat out there.

I have a rather large head, and this hat does not fit my big noggin. Therefore, despite the fact that the hat is cute, I will be returning it. One feature that I really liked was the wire embedded at the edge of the brim to help shape the brim.
