It certainly does not hold all 17 inch laptops because it does not hold my new Dell XPS 17 inch.

Great bag. Tons of room and still very slim. Great for traveling or a mobile sales person. The shoulder pad could be better but its a minimal issue.

This is great for transporting a laptop. I take mine on the train to work. There is plenty of space for other things as well. I am pleased with the style of the bag as well. Much nicer than the typical pc bag. The high quality of this bag is easy to see.
