These are so cute, but I have to return them. Very flattering on the feet, my husband says they are plain (not such a bad thing to me!). My daughter says the area where the front and back of the ankle strap meets, digs in her ankle. She is a little scared of buckles (is used to velcro). The sole of this shoe (size 13) measures 8 1/8 in. long, if that helps anyone.

My three-year-old daughter has narrow feet; finding shoes to fit her is a challenge. After reading the reviews for this sandal, I decided to try a pair. They fit her beautifully. With the adjustable straps, we can adjust the shoe such that it fits. Her foot is not swimming around in the shoe and they are cute to boot! I also love that these shoes are stylish, but unadorned so they go well with many outfits. I will purchase this brand again. Zappos was great, too!

Ordering from Zappos is sooo easy and I am always upgraded to overnight shipping! I ordered my daughter these Salt Water Sandals and they are really great. They have a nice arch support, are flexible, have a nice thick sole, and are such a great color! Red has been hard to find! Some of this brand’s other sandals are flatter and I think the ones I bought are better for growing little feet. The only thing that I would suggest is be patient with breaking in the buckles... they take a little while to find their worn in mark to make putting on easier. They are just stiff from being brand new. Also, these style of shoes don’t come in a half size, so I felt the jump from one size to the next was a big one.

Finally, a classic sandal that is not only adorable, but clever in its design. Both straps adjust, the leather is beautifully soft, and the sole offers a thick yet flexible cushion underfoot. No need to break these in, my daughter was blister-free despite wearing them all day when we first got them! I highly recommend these, and will be buying them again next summer.

I purchased these Salt Water Sandals for a second year in a row. This year I also purchased for my 20 month old and again for my 5 year old. They are great for both ages. Sturdy, comfortable - good for narrow or wide feet b/c of the double adjustable straps. Clean up great after mud or sand box play. The perfect summer sandal. They look great w/ play clothes or dresses. Neither child complains of rubbing, stiffness, etc. They are great for the 20 month old b/c she can't take them off by herself! Thanks to Zappos to their excellent service.

These are great sandals. I bought a pair for my 7 yr old with narrow feet and my 3 yr old with wide feet and they adjust to fit both of them! Well made and really cute. The only bad thing is it's hard for both of them to do the buckle so they need help with that.

I purchased for toddler with extremely narrow foot. These were a perfect fit in all ways (adjustable to accommodate very narrow foot, comfortable leather, the ankle straps don't ride too high above heel or on outside of ankle, and they are so cute). This child is between a 6 and a 6 1/2, so ordered the 6. It is perfect.

I bought this style for my twin girls and they love them! I love the soft leather and that you can adjust the straps as my girls have super narrow feet. The only weird thing is the design/placement of the ankle strap. It just seems weird and the metal buckle ends up in almost to the middle of the ankle instead of the side! It gave one of my girls a blister on the side, but she didn't complain about it because the leather is so soft. They both love wearing it and wouldn't take them off the first day! I'm not sure I would buy them again next year, but they are here to stay for this summer.

These are the most amazing shoes for children! They're almost impossible to ruin--they don't scuff up at all, they wipe clean with a baby wipe, and the top strap is adjustable. I also love that they have basic, plain sandals, with not designs or frills on them. I never realized how hard it was to find plain brown sandals for a little girl until I had my daughter! I normally buy Pediped Flex shoes and sandals for my 3 year old, and while these aren't as cushy as the Pedipeds, their durability and cuteness outweighs that (and they're still comfortable.) After trying these we now have them in red, brown, navy, and white. Oh--and a tip for those of you whose children have somewhat wide feet--stick with the Sweetheart or Surfer styles--they have the adjustable strap on the top. My daughter could never fit into the original Saltwaters because her foot was too wide, but these work great!

These sandals are beautiful and durable! They run true to size. Con would be that buckling a toddlers shoe can be hard! Perhaps Sun-San can make a velcro model!

These sandals rock! They are super cute, comfy (no blisters or breaking in period) and my daughter cannot take them off herself. They look great with all the little dresses as well as jeans at the park. There is still plenty of room in the toe area too so she can wear them all summer! We are so glad we got them, and plan on getting them every summer from now on!

I ordered and returned nearly a dozen different styles and brands before finding Saltwater Sandals. My daughter has very narrow feet and the average toddler shoe is very wide for her. This sandal is perfect because I'm able to easily adjust the width to fit her. They are well made and seem comfortable. They don't leave red marks like many other sandals.
