Old favorite - I was thrilled to find this old favorite from my childhood and now in such great colors. My daughter loves them. She wouldn't take them off for the first two days so she even napped in them (she's 2, who likes to argue with a 2 year old?) They seem to fit true to size. I only gave them a 4 out of 5 for comfort because the little buckle did gouge her foot recently. I think she must have gotten into a funny position to do it but it did leave a little cut. Also, as you can see from the picture they have no cushioning. But they don't constrict the foot at all which is what I've read is best for growing feet, and besides my sister and I wore these same sandals for years and they were comfortable for me. One thing to consider...one reason we went with these had to do with the tendency our daughter has to take her shoes off as we're out and about. We're constantly having to put her velcro attached shoes back on and it gets old. We thought these would prevent that problem. It's true that she can't get the buckle undone (yet) but she does pull the front half of the shoe off somehow so then I'm left having to unbuckle the strap and put the whole shoe on again anyway. Oh well, we still love them. We bought the fushia pick and it's a great color. I have a friend who bought the yellow for her 4 year old and they love them as well. Both are very bright colors and sort of shiney leather. They are not as sturdily constructed as a pair of elefantens but I think they will hold up for the summer and perhaps beyond. I remember wearing through the stiching on the underside when I was a kid. If I notice them coming apart I'll post a new notice.

Great sandal for my 4 year old - I bought the first pair of hoy shoe's salt water sandals last year. They fit my child perfectly - infact they still fit. We ordered a size bigger this year and are very pleased with the quality. She loves the shoes and we get compliments regarding these often. The rose bud print is very cute. My daughter can wear these all day with no blisters. These shoes are great for the beach too - they dry well and do not cause rubbing and that weird noise like some water type shoes do. Get them! They are well worth the money.

Baby Girl is Hot to Trot - The shoe is cute and my daughter loves the bright fuschia. Not familiar with the Hoy Shoe legend, I assumed that the straps would be leather or leather like. But still in all a very nice sandal, very girlish.

Cute shoe - I ordered two pairs of the Hoy Salt Water sandal. One in a 5 and one in a 6. My daughter wears a 5 1/2 and the 5 fits her with some room at the toe. At first I thought the shoes would be too narrow, as my daughter has a wide foot. When she first wore them, they were a little tight, but within a day they had stretched to fit her foot. We now have plenty of room across the toes. The rosebud design is super cute and matches almost anything she wears. These shoes are great for playing in, but are also nice enough to wear to church. I am very happy with this sandal.

Hoy Salt-Water shoes for toddlers - These shoes were comfortable for my Daughter, and she wanted to wear them right away. They have a very flexible flat sole which is perfect for young feet. Also the way that the sole is constructed makes these shoes durable for the wear and tear that a foot dragging toddler produces. The leather under the toes does not go to the edge of the rubber sole. That way the rubber sole takes all the scuffing keeping the shoes nice looking. We would definitely buy these again.

Will never buy another brand of sandal - I love the saltwater shoes, we always buy a few pair for summer, They seem to be great for casual and church these are usually the only summer shoe my daughter needs, as they are so versatile, and the best part is I just throw them in the washer and they look great again.

Saltwater sandal for toddlers - Such a great looking shoe with shorts and pants; about a half- size larger than stated. My daughter wears a 7/12 and I got her the 7 with plenty of room to spare. My daughter just turned three and they are easy to unbuckle for her. A classic shoe!

I bought those shoes in brown for my son when he was 18 months old, they were great for him for the hot weather. It’s perfect shoes for boys who loves to play in the water, the dirt...So I bought those again for my daughter who is 14 months. For her it’s a good shoe to go to the park or the beach but not for everyday use. I think she is a little small to wear those because there is no arch support.
