I love these shoes! They are lightweight, extremely comfortable, have good cushioning and support. I love the Quicklace lacing system and only buy these shoes now because of these laces and the fit and comfort.

Super comfortable, lightweight and great traction. The slide closure takes a bit of getting use to, as it can stick a bit. Took these to Alaska one week after I got them and didn't need any break-in time. Now I am working on my husband to get a pair.

From the first time I put these on they felt perfect. Not one complaint from my feet! The aqua color is just beautiful! I never spent a lot on sneakers, but I was going hiking and still wanted to look great and these did it all for me! Love them!

These are the best shoes! I tend to wear out the sole of the shoe before the outside look like they have been worn down. Also, I have had some issues with plantar fasciitis and these shoes have helped tremendously. Great shoe for those with flat and wide feet like me!

If you want a really reliable Trail shoe, this is it! I bought my 1st pair to do Adventure Racing in, I was in and out of the water for 12hrs and they were great! I'm now on my 3rd pair! Buy your regular shoe size.

When they say optimized fit for women they aren't lying! I am the hardest to fit with athletic shoes. Combine this with the fact that I have been trail running and these are the perfect shoes for me. Narrow enough in the heel and wide enough in the toe that it minimizes that numb toe thing I get about 45 minutes into a workout. Can't recommend these highly enough! Just want some softer colors please so I can stock up. :)

Awesome! I use this shoe as a trail runner and for moderate hiking in the Arizona desert. This shoe supports the entire foot while gripping tightly to changing terrain. There is no need to break this shoe in. It's comfortable directly out of the box and only gets better! I wear the same size in this shoe as my running shoes - true to size.

I bought and compared the Merrell Moab Ventilator, Ahnu Sequoia, Pearl Izumi Syncro Fuel XC, and these Salomons - and the Salomons won; no comparison. My previous pair of shoes was the Pearl Izumi SyncroSeek III, and actually I could tell very little difference between that pair and these Salomons (and my PIs are two years old). I agree that they definitely run a half size large. I always wear exactly 8 1/2 and had to exchange for 8 which fit perfectly.

Great hiking shoe! Though they need a break-in period, they are supportive but not stiff, breathable and have a sure-footed tread. They were perfect for desert hiking in Arizona this spring. I have 4 pairs of Salomon trail shoes and love 3 of them (these included). I am a pretty true 7 but I take a 6 1/2 in Salomons with plenty of room for thick socks. My only problem with these was the slightly higher heel liner which rubbed my achilles tendon so that I had to buy some higher socks to cover the top of my heel. The quick lace system is very adjustable and fast!

I am not a runner by any stretch of the imagination. However I decided to sign up for a 20+ mile ruck run and needed a good shoe to train in and complete the challenge in. I am awful at picking out a shoe that will be good for me as I am not a runner. That being said, I chose these shoes based on the reviews of others and I thought I would offer my first impressions of them for other beginner trail runners. So far these shoes are awesome, they offer a lot of support all over, especially the arch. They felt a little loose when I first put them on but the toe area is a bit more narrow than normal shoes so the little extra room doesn't make the toes pinch my foot. Normally I am a minimalist shoe person (I wear vibrams almost exclusively) but I just could not imagine running 20+ miles in my VFF. I feel like these shoes are the perfect blend of softness and strength! I am looking forward to running at the end of the day, instead of dreading it! A great buy, I am pleased with my purchase and the accuracy of the other reviews.

I love these shoes. This is my second pair and I wore the first pair every day to work for 2 years. They are very light and comfortable. It seems like the toe area has more room than regular tennis shoes which I liked. I am on my feet at work for 8 hours and these shoes were great. The lace ups worked great and always stayed tight. I put my own prescription orthotics in them because I have flat feet. I only bought another pair because I figured after 2 years, it was probably time. Will definitely buy these again. Plus, I love the color combinations.

I have a very bad case of plantar fasciitis, but I love to walk. I like this shoe because it is light, flexible,steady. However, the motion control part, I feel that it is less than Brooks' Ariel10. I still have pain at the end of the trip. I still keep this shoe for the short trip.

These shoes are very comfortable. I have very high arches and they provide excellent arch support. I'm returning them only because I bought these shoes to compare with the Salomon XA Comp 4 GTX and decided I wanted the waterproof GTX. The reviews said they run 1/2 size larger than normal and I agree. I normally buy a 9.5 in athletic shoes and the 9 fit me with plenty of room.

Really love this shoe. Ran 10 miles out of the box and they felt pretty good. I normally wear an 8 in running shoes, but this shoe was a 1/2 size too big. 7.5 fit perfectly.
