- Breathable airmesh upper.
- Gusseted tongue helps keep debris out.
- Quiklace™ lacing provides even, one-pull tightening down the length of your shoe and won't loosen or come undone mid-stride.
- SensiFit™ construction creates a secure lateral hold on your foot inside the shoe while also stretching to adapt to the width of your forefoot.
- Ortholite sockliner combines moisture-wicking fabric with an EVA heel cup to provide support, control, and keep your feet cool.
- Two semi-rigid bars run from the mid-foot to forefoot to create the OS Tendon structure, which improves heel-to-toe roll through your foot strike.
- Contagrip LT uses lightweight sole materials to offer superior forefoot grip and traction.
- Contagrip HA uses more abrasion-resistant sole material to offer increased support and durability.

Excellent choice of shoe. Arch support is unbelievable. One of the most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased.

Aside from the great colors and design, this shoe offers support that is heavenly-high arch and a thick cushiony sole and the speed laces make for quick transitions. I did not end up keeping these however, I prefer a more minimal shoe and do not require much arch support. Also, I found that the toe box is wider than most running shoes.

When I first put the Crossmax it was stiff by the tongue. After three trail runs I love them! They are the best shoes I have ever had. I have very flat feet, wide feet, and bunions. I love the laces too! I will be getting another pair in a few months!

I have newly discovered Salomon, and I must say that I love the crossmax series. They are super comfortable and require little breaking in. I have typically wear between a 7.5 and 8 in other brands, but in Salomon, I am a 7.

Purchased for a vacation that including hiking in Acadia and New Hampshire. Very pleased with the fit but for me they ran a half size large and I returned and re-ordered. They have a wide foot bed if that is a concern. The toggle laces take getting used to but as someone who always seems to have a shoe untied, I love them! Great for light hiking, trail walks, and every day use!

I had been to the foot doctor and a better sport shoe was recommended for my walking. I ordered this shoe and have been wearing it practically non-stop since I received them in December. In fact, I just ordered another pair in a different color because it fits and feels so good.

I love these shoes. They are very comfortable. I love the comfort of Salomons and this is my second pair that I own. I am returning mine for half a size bigger. Even with thinner socks I still needed to go up half a size. I just wish I could wear them now! They are such awesome shoes!

I just ordered these 2 days ago & couldn't believe how fast they came in! I originally ordered the same pair & had to return them for a 1/2 size bigger. I'm glad I did! They fit more like a tennis shoe should. I love these shoes! Very comfortable! Great arch support & I like how I don't have to tie these shoes! I am a big Salomon fan. It's a great shoe! I haven't trail ran in these yet but will soon.
Brands I'd also recommend: I also like Saucony but everyone is different.

I wear sneakers as often as possible and even own another pair of Salomon sneakers but these are the most uncomfortable sneakers I've ever worn. I would have returned them if I saved the box and the receipt. I love Salomon sneakers but this pair is nothing to write home about.
