Second year in a row I have purchased these shoes. I run on concrete paths, dirt trails and hike in these shoes. The shoe offers a lot of stability, is well cushioned and accommodates a wider foot. Best of all, they don't come untied! In my opinion, they fit true to size. Not the cheapest running shoe out there but to me, they are well worth the price. I put many miles on a shoe in a season.
I'd also recommend: New Balance, Brooks

This is the best shoe I have worn in years. I was skeptical of a neutral shoe since I overpronate and was just coming off of a tendon injury but they are great. The stock insert is decent, probably one of the best I have run across in years. But since I am an extreme overpronator I replaced those with Superfeet Berry insoles. This combination works like a charm for me. I would definitely purchase another pair. Salomon where have you been all my life?
I'd also recommend: None. These are my go-to running/hiking brand now.

This is one amazing shoe! I love the fit, support, and style. I do use a supportive insert, but most folks would not need this, it is so supportive. Zappos is the best! Sent me another size for comparison between the 7.5 and the 8. I chose the 8, mainly becasue I had more flexibility with the thickness of socks. Great service. Thank you Zappos.
