Best shoes ever. I bought these (and my husband got the men's version) specifically for a hike in Hawaii that we knew was going to be slippery, muddy, and would involve crossing rivers. I think these shoes were specifically designed with this particular hike in mind. Although parts of the trail were slippery red clay and wet rocks, the traction was great - even on the downhill and I always slip and fall going downhill. We would watch the people in their hiking boots and socks take them off to cross the rivers while we just plunged right through, no socks even needed. They drained well, dried quickly, tons of mud rinsed off no problem at all. I did get a couple small blisters but nothing major. Wore them again kayaking/hiking and they were great there too. Perfect shoes for this kind of activity! I bought this light gray/blue combo and would have preferred a darker color but they are only available in men's. I wish shoe companies would stop assuming women want girly color shoes with flowers on them (there is a tiny flower near the front - really? Not necessary).

I had these a few years ago and thought it was time for a new pair. I'm always a size 9, not ever in-between, and the 9 in these felt a little big - maybe just a half size. Other than that, they are great - very comfortable, very cute.

This water shoe is "almost perfect" but the non-elastic, nylon drawstring is a deal-breaker for me...it feels like a high-maintenance, breakable, very thin shoelace. I'm a Keen girl from way back and will always favor the no-hassle elastic cord. I haven't lost faith in Salomon over this though and this is an excellent shoe otherwise. Be sure to buy at least a 1/2 size down from your regular size.

Love these shoes. They are very versatile and make great shoes for vacationing and cruising. They are pretty comfortable but wearing the heel down can rub a bit as one might expect.

BEST SHOE EVER! Honestly could not live without my Techamphibians. I wear them hiking, for travel (they weigh NOTHING!), for water sports (great for kayaking and then hiking around), and whenever I want happy feet. So glad they are following up from the Techamphibians I & II with this new shoe. One piece of advise for Solomon: please do more color options again! :)
