Best aggressive shoe period! Originally bought them for an east to west trek across Sierra Mountain Range from Mammoth to Yosemite Valley. Shoes blew my expectations away, not only were they instantly comfortable out-of-box, they proved light, comfortable, and grippy as all hell on the trail. I found myself fast boulder-hopping down descending trails as if I was hammering out moguls on skis. Which isn't really that impressive, it was the fact that I was often leaping six foot gaps and wall-walking on granite shearwalls in 70lb pack, otherside abyss. Why? Because of the best-ever shoe-sole design matched with the perfect rubber compound so that you stick like spiderman. Not only does the simple stupid tread design, placement, and shape, contribute to its off-road worthiness, it is also awesome for around town casual. The height of the treads give you a feeling of weightlessness floating above concrete. Off-road, there is virtually no caking of soil material ever and when your walking in potters clay type material, you can scrape them clean with your finger because of the distance between each knobby- tread (think cleat for the real everyday world). They work in all facets of life. Extreme control and balance, great trail shoe, great shoe!

Awesome shoes! I got them for my fiance for his birthday and he loves them. He's run in the rain with them and they've kept his feet dry. He also says they have a great insole and support.

This is my 2nd pair of Solomon shoes and I love them both. I wear these all of the time, they are very comfortable and functional or day to day wear.. Both pair I own are the most comfortable shoes I have

First off, the people at Zappos are great. This is my new go to store. You can't go wrong, fast service, very helpful! Now the shoes, Salomon Speedcross 3 CS,these shoes right out of the box are great - no break in, very comfortable, well built shoe. Put them on and they hug your feet. Nice support, snow too deep to try outside but can't wait to hit the trails. Lots and lots of traction. Nice look too, just a well built shoe altogether, buy them.

These are terrific shoes! They are super stylish and always initiate compliments. The grip is amazing, they are super warm and great at keeping your feet dry. I recently played a round of winter golf in these due to the wet a cold conditions. I know they weren't make for golf, but they were terrific! I may be done with golf shoes, these felt better to walk in.
