The Solomon S-Lab is a fantastic trail running shoe. Most comfort I've had and plenty of support even though it's very lightweight. I won't run or race in another shoe as long as Solomon makes this shoe!

Cannot say enough about this wonderful shoe. True comfort. Great to wear all day and wonderful on the treadmill..Pretty too. Has a great heel and arch support. A problem I have to deal with. Would buy more and highly recommend.

I went from a pair of XT Wings2 to these. Lets me just say this is the second pair of Salomon shoes that I have had, and both were ready to go right out of the box. Most other shoes I have run with you need to start slowly to break them in (get your feet used to them) and avoid blisters. The Lab4s came out of the box, onto my feet and I went an easy eight mile, no issues. I have one observation, for me it is not really a complaint but for other people's knowledge, they hold heat pretty well, so I can definitely see in my longer 15-30 mile runs (training for an ultra) sweat might become an issue. But like I said so far zero complaints. They have a top of the line price for a reason, and they are worth every penny. After my XTWings I only use Salomon, they fit me perfect. These will definitely be a repeat buy. I use them mostly for road, even though they are trail shoes, but I have had no issues in that department either. Five out of five! These are awesome shoes!

This pair of shoes is fantastic. Very comfortable, and I got many compliments about their look. This was my first pair of Salomons. I will buy more.

After two years of Addidas and Lasportiva, I decided to try the Salomon, mostly due to the reviews. Unfortunately I find that the sole is too thin for running rocky trails. I can feel every stone on the trail!Also I do not find that the shoe has too much stability in respect to the Lasportiva Wildcats. I do have to say that I am 5'11 and weigh 195 lbs. Possibly a lighter person will appreciate the shoes much more.... I do like the lacing system, wish other would follow suite.

Great shoe on the trails! Don't rely on these for asphalt...too stiff. Contrary to what others said, the arch support is not sufficient if you have high arches. There is also very poor heel support and as a result of running on a treadmill, putting full confidence in the shoes ability, I pulled the plantar fascia and have been recovering ever since...I now have high arched insoles and heel wedge to make these work...much better! Just be careful..more money does not mean a better shoe...it means more potential for injury.
