Best shoes I have ever owned! Hiked and snowshoed on an over night hut trip in Aspen 13 miles and my feet stayed warm and never got wet. Also was one of the few with no blisters. I love my shoes!!!

Very roomy in the width. Extremely cushiony in the sole. Wonderful feminine color. Awesome!
Brands I'd also recommend: Hard to find brands that make larger sizes for women.

These are great for ankle support and also cup your heal very well. I've had a hard time finding boots that don't give me blisters when going uphill a lot and finally these did the trick. However, my pair at least are severely lacking in the 'waterproof' department. The first time I wore them I didn't put are waterproofing spray on them and went camping far from home. They got wet the first day walking through wet grass and never dried out for the next three days. Pretty miserable, but my only complaint. Seemed to be an issue with the men's version, too- hit or miss on which pairs actually are waterproof. Definitely a bit wider in the forefoot area, but not so wide they felt sloppy, just comfortable.

This is my fifth pair of Salomon boots. They are the most comfortable boot. I get about two years of hiking out of a pair. This is the only brand I recommend and the color blue is so much better than all the browns and tans of all the other boots. Worth the price.

I love my Salomon hiking boots. They are extremely light weight, with wonderful ankle support and comfort. They needed very little break in time. They kept my feet warm, and dry.
