Great shoe. Fit was true to size and extremely comfortable right out of the box. Excellent cushioned footbed. These shoes have been wet numerous times and are truly waterproof. Would highly recommend this shoe.

Great hiking shoe! These shoes were great; I thought they were a little small when you have a pair of good socks on. I ordered my typical size 8, then sent it back and got 8 1/2; fit better with the socks. I bought these for hiking in Switzerland. There was no break in period needed, I wore them all day while hiking in the mountains and walking around, we were on flat trails, stone trails, etc., no blisters at all. I walked up and down some 'mild' sloped areas, then also one trail that was a more steep trail with many more stones/rocks (was marked for experienced hikers trail) and had no problems with the shoes. I would recommend these shoes.

This are great! They run true to size and require no breaking in time. The first time I wore them I did a 6 mile hike, and two days later I did an 11 mile hike. No blisters. The only negative is that they don\'t provide much ankle support no matter how you tie them, so if you are doing a lot of scrambling or intense hikes then you are probably better off with another boot.

Most comfortable!
Never needed a break-in. I am on my feet all day training police dogs - most comfortable boots I ever owned. Excellent arch support.

Great Winter Walking shoe...
Took a "trial" walk on my treadmill to make sure there were no issues, and after 1.5 miles not a problem...so walking outside in winter on the beach or on trails has been great! Great room in the toes, and not so high at the ankle, no rubbing at all! Thanks for a great product!

This is my first pair of salomon shoes and I really like them. Overall good comfort and arch support. Have worn them in warmer weather and during pretty cold temps, and me feet didn’t seem to overheat or get cold.

The best hiking boot I've ever had -
This hiking boot has made my feet very happy. Comfortable and stylish in the same boot. The customer service was excellent. Would buy from Zappos again.

I Highly Recommend These Salomon's -
My feet feel very stable in these boots. They were comfortable right out of the box. I love that they are waterproof and yet my feet don't feel steamy wearing them indoors. The arch support is enough for me. I didn't have to size up, I am wearing them with cushioned hiking socks, and there is room. Great quality. As always, Zappos is an amazing place to shop!
