So far, so good. Comfortable, and very good "no slip gripper" soles.

They run a 1/2 size smaller. Great shoe to wear and they look great! Love them!

I purchased these shoes for running in the sleet and snow in Chicago winters - they are great - no leaking, no slipping and very comfortable!

The boots are way too tight in the calf. Couldn't finish zipping them, so forget trying to fit over jeans. After reading the reviews. Either we all keep getting the same boot that keeps getting returned, or these boots are just not uniformly cut. I've never had problems with high boots like this before. Very disappointing, if I could zip them, I think I would have liked them.

I love the arch support, quality is great. Just a bit stiffer than I expected. I need a light hiker for fast dayhikes and this is a bit too sturdy for that. Good quality. I am a 8-8.5 and usually get a 9 in hiking shoes, but Salomon runs half size big. Got the 8.5 and it was the right size. Color is a bit more muted than it appears online.

My usual shoe is the Salomon XA pro, I was looking for a slightly lighter weight Salomon, and ordered the Mission. these are Salomon-sized that is for most runners they will seem about 1/2 size larger than say an Adidas. the heel pocket seems a bit deeper than the XA pros, with a wide enough forefoot, but otherwise the fit seems reasonable close to the XA pros. i have only been out running in these up to 2 hrs or so at a time (in some snow, some mud), but they are billed as a short to medium distance shoe, so that is probably within their intended use. I have fairly high arches and don't need or want extreme motion control and these shoes do not seem to be over-structured. I have worn Salomons for a number of years, and i am happy to add these shoes to my Salomon shoe quiver.

By far the best boots I've ever had. Very comfortable plus keep my feet warm and dry. These boots are not only practical but stylish too.

I was looking for a boot comparable to my LL Bean Wildcat boots that I have bought for years, and somehow they are out of stock at the end of January? Really? So looked for reviews that said they used the boots to snowshoe, and I ordered these 1/2 size larger based on the reviews. Even with a heavy sock, they are too big. Since I have worn them outside already, do not feel right returning them, so going to keep them for my kids and going to order my true boot size. They are very comfortable and amazingly light. Great to shoe in, even with heavy sock and temps soared to 40 today and my feet were not overheated snowshoeing. Would highly recommend, but try your usual boot size. I am a medium to wide foot size and there is lots of room.

Got a pair of these to replace my aging pair of last generation XA's that I practically live in. Sadly, I just returned them because they were stiff, narrow and the higher backs were rubbing my achilles raw. As a satisfied owner of four previous pairs of Salomons of various models, I sure hope they get this worked out.

Really cool boots! I returned the first pair (another boot style) because they were a bit too big and my size was not available in the returned boot...both Salomon. This style was a bit pricier, but also clearly better. Return service by Zappos and their replacement speed is quite something. Thank you.

Purchased this shoe to wear 10-12 hours a day in a industrial distribution office/warehouse setting, and chasing two small kids. Shoe wears "okay". Expected, based on prior reviews, the shoe to be more comfortable. And, very disappointed in "quicklace" and "sensifit" system. I prefer firm ankle support, and the laces loosen within 30 seconds/four steps of tightening. Hoping it's just a faulty shoe.

These are excellent boots! They are light and comfortable with great support. I wear them daily. I do not understand what all the sizing issues are with these shoes. Everyone builds shoes that will either fit you or not. Salomon and Merrel fit me perfect in a 14. So that is all I buy. They are pretty simple.

I have an older version of this shoe and I love it. I live in a hilly, variable-weather city where I walk/hike about 20 miles a week, in every season, on a mix of surfaces from asphalt to concrete to narrow woods trails to slick sucking mud on steep hillsides. This is my go-to shoe for all conditions except deep snow. My pair is so caked with mud and gore you can hardly tell how attractive they are, but this is a great-looking shoe. The quick-lace thing is brilliant. I've never found another shoe that provides such comfort, stability and support for my flat feet and tricky ankles in the variety of terrain and weather conditions I need to be prepared for. Comfortable from the minute you put them on, and my pair has lasted for years. They are spendy but worth every penny.

Love the color and they fit like a glove, except the sole is an aggressive lug design and if you stand in one spot you can almost feel the lugs. This shoe fit my narrow foot well, but I did not anticipate the lug design. Would be great for someone who needs traction

This shoe has a wide toe box and the sole is very stiff. It does not have the rocker type sole that a running shoe has, it is very sturdy and well built but felt to stiff.

I really liked this shoe and wanted to be able to keep it but my foot runs a little narrow and I was not able to cinch the quick tie tight in the lower part of the lace area without making it much to tight at the top where it secures. This shoes would work for those with wider feet. Other than that it was very comfortable. I gave it 5 stars because it suits all the categories it just didn't fit my foot.

I dislike these boots because they are uncomfortable and they started to leak water in wet grass after 40 miles. The grip is good even on wet aggregate and the release of grass clippings is acceptable. 1. These boots have an unusually low cut at the heel. The space is filled in with a pillowy tongue that is sewn in at about the Achilles tendon level. From there, the pillowy tongue extends up to the normal ankle boot height. This worked great for my right boot, but on the left boot the seam where the tongue was sewn into the boot, was not smooth, and the resulting ridge created a blister and on my left Achilles tendon area. I compensated with a piece of foam designed to elevate such shoe problems. 2. There is a seam running lengthwise from near the top of the tongue, down the inside top center of the boot, to the toe. This seam is not smooth, and it irritated the middle toe on my right foot. I compensated with a small bit of tape on the top of my toe, each day, to keep it from blistering. 3. There is no provision for storing the one foot of lace loop that becomes free once the laces are pulled tight and secured. After trying some alternatives, I followed the recommendation of one of the reviewers here, and started tucking the plastic pull tab on the laces, into the upside down pocket at the outside top of the tongue. This is difficult, because the opening of that pocket is being held closed by the pressure of the tight laces at the pocket opening. This did seem to work well, though, until one day the left lace apparently came loose tangling my right foot and causing me to fall. Besides scuffing up my knee and palms, it broke the laces at the junction and I lost the plastic pull tab. I compensated for the missing pull tab, by using a paper clip to hook the excess lace loop to the back pull tab, on that boot. 4. After 4 weeks of 2 miles per weekday of walking in dewy grass, the left boot started to leak badly, leaving my left sock sopping wet. 5. There is not much width for toes, even though I used 1/2 size larger boot. 6. My heels were too loose and I could feel my heels sliding around while walking After trying leaky Adidas with Gore-Tex, Montrail with OutDry, and Salomon with Gore-Tex, and taxing Zappos fantastic customer support, I will go back to Adidas Outdoor, for comfort, and just give up expecting waterproof boots to be waterproof.

These are incredibly comfortable. I went out on the trail for 7 miles right out of the box. No pain, perfect. It's a great shoe. I am a Salomon loyalist.

I wore my Exit Aeros into the ground, but had to put arch supports in. Thought the Exit 2 would improve on arch support and lace security. It appears to, during a try-on, but look at the tread. The original Exit Aero for women had a horizontal tread, and this version has a swoop. Doesn't look like something I would want to wear on a desert slope.

Great and functional winter boot. If you have any extra baggage in your calf area, these boots are not for you. I have stick legs and can barely zip them up.

These are very comfortable shoes. However, they definitely are half a size smaller than stated.
