I purchased these shoes to wear for zumba. I have been on a major hunt for the perfect zumba shoes to replace the other ones I have been wearing. I had high hopes for these as I love the Ryka brand. I ordered a 7, 7.5, and an 8. The 7.5 (my normal size) felt a little too big and the 7 felt okay but a little snug. I wore these to zumba tonight on a studio floor and was completely disappointed. I slid around and had zero traction. I could barely move because I was sliding so much. Also, there is little to no cushioning in these shoes. I am an advanced exerciser so I tend to incorporate higher impact movements into my zumba routines. I am so sad that I have to send these back. A huge thank you to Zappos for their awesome customer service. I got these in less than 12 hours.

Just bought these to wear in Zumba class. They were fabulous! Very comfortable, great support and had just the right amount of traction so I wasn't sliding all over (like traditional dance sneakers) but could easily move around. Zumba is high intensity, and these shoes were perfect for it!

I find that this is a great shoe for Zumba aerobics. It's lightweight but provides plenty of support. The shoe looks like it is cut wide across the foot, but doesn't feel wider than it should. I also have a hard time finding a good fit, and this was available in a half size that works!

This shoe will hold an orthotic insert but the insert will make the shoe feel wider than what you're used to, There are better shoes if you need to use an orthotic insert. They are a great shoe for general wear if you don't need an insert.

This shoe breathes and is light and comfortable. Not too stacked, good for lateral movements, but still enough cushion for studio classes.

I was disappointed in these shoes. I have been an aerobics student for about 4 years, 4x a week. I go through shoes quickly, because one part of the shoe will get worn out by lunges or something, and then the whole shoe has to go. I was hoping the thin sole would make me lighter on my feet, but it just took away the cushioning effect. My feet and legs hurt a lot more, trying to maneuver in these shoes. They are cute, and I will wear them for fun, but they are not as good as other Ryka shoes for working out.

I purchased these for Zumba class. I found them very true to size. I have very high arches and was having difficulty finding a dance type shoe that also provided arch support and comfort. I love these shoes! They are very light weight and extremely comfortable. They also breathe well if you have warm feet. I am very pleased.

I have had a hard time finding shoes that don't hurt my feet for zumba. I've tried Bloch, Nike Musique, Nike React, Ryka Studio D and they all hurt my feet in some way. These Ryka Transitions are fantastic! I do zumba 5 times a week and need a good supporting shoe for my fallen arches and pronating feet. The insole comes out and fits my full orthotics nicely. There is ample room for my toes to spread and my feet don't get numb during my workout. I will always buy these particular shoes as long as they keep carrying them. Outstanding! This shoe is working well for me for the high-intensity Zumba class that I take. I added an insole with an arch support to help with my fallen arches. More padding in the forefoot area would make it a really terrific shoe!

I love these shoes! I have been researching for a lightweight, yet supportive shoe for my Zumba classes, and these definitely fit the bill! They are super lightweight but are well-constructed with a true, comfortable fit and great support! Would definitely buy another pair and recommend to a friend.

Best pair of sneakers yet! I have purchased many sneakers in the past for exercising and my feet never felt better. It is so nice to exercise without pain. Very light weight and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend!

I was very disappointed with this shoe. I have worn Rykas for years and was looking for a lighter alternative to the mid studio for step class. It is a lovely lightweight shoe, but does not stand up to high impact step classes. I also have trouble with them when doing lunges in a lifting class because the mesh in the front is so thin it feels like I\'m only wearing socks. I love the feel of them because they are so breathable and light, but my opinion is that they might be best suited for moderate walking.
