I absolutely love this shoe! I need a stability shoe, because my feet pronate, but I also need the outer support for lateral moves in my Jazzercise class. Other shoes either had no outer support, or so much support that they caused my feet to pronate more. This shoe is absolutely, hands down, the best shoe for my needs. It took eight different shoes (seven Ryka and one Saucony) to find the right pair, but Zappos was so helpful and friendly, it made the search totally worth it. Thanks!

Purchased for Jazzercise. The instructors swear by Ryka. I wear an 11 street shoe and, typically, an 11 1/2 athletic shoe to allow for the movement of the foot during activity. Even though I've always heard Ryka runs short, since they don't make 11 1/2 I tried the 11. They appear to sit on the same foot bed and sole as the Studio Flex. Like the Studio Flex, the toe box seemed bigger than other Rykas I've tried, but my toe was still almost touching the front edge of the shoe standing still. They still run small. I knew it would be even more uncomfortable once I started jumping around in class. There seemed to have decent support for lateral movements like grapevines, etc, but the cushioning under the heel and forefoot seemed lacking for all the bouncing around I do in class. I also have high arches and didn't feel the shoe had good arch support. Even with the bigger toe box adding a more supportive insole was out of the question because it definitely became not enough room for my foot. Sadly, will be sending these back and my hunt for the perfect Jazzercise shoe continues. Zappos rocks even though this shoe didn't for me.

I have tried numerous shoes for an aerobic class and have yet to find a shoe that works until I found this one! True to size, looks and feels great! Highly recommend!

I love these shoes. I am a fitness instructor so I am very picky about my shoes. These have a lot of cushion and yet they are lightweight. I need lateral support and they are good for that as well. I wear an 8 or 8 1/2 and the 8's fit perfect. I will probably order another pair when I wear these out. Great shoe for cardio classes.

Looks cuter on-line! However, I still gave them a try. The arches were way to high for me and were uncomfortable. I am returning them.

I loved the shoes, but they didn't work for my purpose. I thought I could use them as cross trainers, but they were too slippery during my aerobics class. They are called "Studio," so I should have realized that they need to be used in a studio-like environment.

I love these shoes! I wear them for Zumba and these are my favorite pair so far! Cushy, but supportive; cool looking! I usually wear an 8, but got a 7 1/2 since I like my dance shoes snug.

Brands I'd also recommend: I heart RYKA's for Zumba shoes!!

Great shoe for aerobic exercise. Very good lateral support. The sole has just the right amount of grip but still allows for smooth pivots. Seems a little hot, but I think that comes with any shoe that will have the side support I'm looking for. Thank you to Zappos for the unexpected, free overnight service. What a perk!

I bought these shoes for exercise class in which a lot of lateral movement was hurting my knees. So far, they seem to be working! I like that they are very flexible, yet sturdy and have good grip on the bottom for slick gym floors! I ordered a shoe half a size smaller than what I normally wear after reading reviews, but had to return for even smaller size because they run large and the heel seems to run wide. I only use these shoes for class and have separate running shoes.

Great shoe! I wear it for strength training, cardio machines (other than the treadmill), and classes at the gym. They fit pretty true to size - I ordered half a size up since I usually have to for my running shoes and I really didn't need to; could have easily worn my regular size.

As a Jazzercise instructor with high impact moves in my routines, I need a shoe that can protect my knees and feet. Normally I need to add extra padding to the soles of my shoes, but not with the Ryka Synergy! Also, the toe box provides enough space for my feet to expand during the workout and nice soft material to keep my pinkie toe from rubbing. I love these shoes!

The Ryka Synergy shoe is amazingly comfortable. Fits well and is a lighter-weight shoe. I love them! (And I think Zappos rocks!)

These are good shoes for Zumba, but not for running. They slide off the backs of my heels. They don't really feel like the grip my foot the right way, but the cushioning is decent and the side-to-side cushioning is great. I wasn't super excited about them but it wasn't worth returning them.

I am a dance fitness instructor, teaching 10-12 class a week. I go through shoes pretty quickly! I was sad to see my last Ryka's discontinued, but so far these have been great! They support my ankles and knees and allow me to spin and pivot. Super comfy, too!
