I first bought a pair in 9½, and immediately returned them because though the length was good, my feet just felt too tightly sandwiched in the shoe, as if there was not enough space or wiggle room for the top of my foot and toes. I then ordered a pair Nike Musiques and returned them, (too bulky and stiff), and finally the Zumba brand shoe, which I also returned (cheap construction, and only whole sizes, 9 was too small, 10 was too big). So, desperate to find a Zumba shoe to save my screaming knees, I ordered the Rykas again, in the same size, hoping that there was enough variation in the manufacturing process that I would get a pair that was not so snug. Well, they were just as snug (though still long enough), but given the rave reviews, I diligently wore them to Zumba. The first two classes, the snugness was still noticeable, and my toes actually went a little numb at one point. But, magically, by the third class, the shoes were completely broken in, perfectly comfortable, and no toe numbness. Also, they have good support, so all that jumping up and down is not so jarring anymore. Now I would not trade these Rykas for anything. My knees are doing much better, and the freedom of movement (especially for the pivoting moves), is almost effortless. I actually am more likely to go to Zumba now because I know that I will not have any discomfort.

Unfortunately am going with the few that say: would not recommend. I bought these for Zumba after reading all the glowing reviews. I received them yesterday and tried them on, they felt so light and wonderful. Then I put on my Zumba DVD and half way through it, I couldn't move anymore. My arch was killing me. These shoes are light and cute but have very little arch support esp. for people with flat feet like myself. :( That I've to return them, guess it's back to square one! on a side note: they fit true to size, I ordered my normal size 10!

This pair of shoes is okay but is not as good as the Ryka Studio Flex low and mid. It is rather short and a little narrow but still comfortable. If you have bunions like I do, this is not the best pair for you. I do zumba a lot and so far the best shoes for me is the Ryka studio flex low and mid. They are awesome. My feet feel cushioned all throughout the intense high impact hour long zumba session.
I'd also recommend: None. Ryka so far is the only brand that gives me satisfaction.

These shoes are great for Zumba! Based on other reviews, I ordered one half size larger than I normally wear and they fit great. This is my second pair of Ryka's and the only difference I can see is that the heel is not as narrow as the other ones I own. However, the other pair is not good for Zumba so my recommendation is to have a couple of pairs. The others are great for walking & running and now I have this pair for Zumba. I think they look great and I will enjoy these. My walking/running shoes were causing me to have sore knees in dance class. I'm a firm believer that your shoe should fit the sport. I highly recommend these to anyone who dances.

If you want to find the best shoes for zumba classes, look no further! This is it! You are not going to hurt yourself wearing these shoes to a high impact exercise class. You can do turns, rotations, and jumps easily in those shoes. Just make sure you don't wear them outside, especially in the rain. This will increase friction. I change into these shoes when I arrive to the gym.

These are fabulous for Zumba! They allow you to do the sideway movements with ease. I bought a size up because I normally wear a D width. Still love them. They are attractive as well.
