I love this shoe! I have bought two pairs of this same shoe. I attempted to upgrade to the new XT but it did not fit as well or have the arch support I wanted. I use this shoe for boot camp. Great support for side-to-side activities. This shoe also has more shock cushioning than most cross trainers. Great purchase!

I am now an official Ryka fan. I work out religiously, and have owned about every brand of shoe there is. I tried these and fell in love. They feel slightly wider than some. My feet tend to slide inside them when I plant for lunges, etc. But for cardio crosstraining, they are like walking on a cloud right out of the box.

This is the first time I bought Ryka. I did not even know the brand. I have undergone hip and knee replacement the last three years. This pair of sneakers has good support, are true to size, but a tiny bit towards the smaller side, have good ventilation, are light weight and they are not bulky. I do not like those sneakers that resemble 4X4 vehicles. I put them on and walked for a couple of miles the first few days without the necessary period to break them in gradually. After that I walked without fear for as long as I wanted. I think I would buy these again.

I ought a pair if these more than a year ago or my workouts and loved them! Time for a new pair and I was pleased to find them at Zappos! They fit my slightly narrow feet perfectly!

Brands I'd also recommend: I only buy Ryka because they are made on a womasn's last and fit better.

I do both Jazzercise and Zumba and starting off the shoes feel fine but after high impact dancing it becomes apparent that for my foot the is not enough padding in the sole of the shoe, my feet are aching at the end of class. Shoes are great for low impact.

Good exercise shoe. I use mine for step aerobics and have good traction while not "sticking" to my step. My feet feel well supported and stabilized too. I recommend these for aerobics but I think they'd be great for any activity.

I can always fit in a Ryka. This shoe is considered a running shoe but I am using it for walking. Overall, very comfortable and stable.

I bought these shoes to do exercise DVDs at home. They hold on to my heel well, and they are wide enough in the front so they don't pinch while doing things like jumping jacks. I have very high arches, so there's not quite enough support -- but I've never found a shoe with enough arch support. I'm right between 8 1/2 and 9, and they fit well in 9.

I usually wear New Balance sneakers but decided to try Ryka. I found them to be very comfortable with good arch support, a nice wide toe box, and lightweight. Great for cross training, walking, or just being on your feet all day. They're cute too.

Wow! What a surprise. The heel fit specifically, is the best of any I have ever had and I have been a runner for 40 years! The first time out in this shoe was absolutley awesome! I love it! It feels so good, light, and perfect. My first time in a Ryka, and I will be back for sure!

Cute shoe, slightly short. I am a true 6 1/2 but I think a 7 would be too big.

I found the Ryka assist xt to be very comfortable. I like the mess, because I like my toes to have wiggle room. If you have high arches you will need to insert a better arch support. I would give this shoe a very good rating.

These sneakers are very comfortable for a variety of workouts. I use mine while on the treadmill, Pilates and various cardio workouts with lunges, etc. Well made, true to size and comfy. You can't go wrong.

Purchased these cross training sneakers for my bootcamp classes and strength training classes. They are just wonderful and give great support all around. Love wearing them.
