Great aqua shoes! Very light weight, dry easily and are extremely comfortable. My only slight complaint is that they run a bit smaller in size. I really like the lace locking feature; it provides a nice snug fit around the tongue of the shoe. Great shoes for my aqua classes at the gym.

This looks like a great shoe but the shoestring is so short that it didn't open up enough that I could even get it on my foot. Unless you want to struggle, don't recommend.

I have these shoes and love them! Maybe the shoe laces are tight so they won't come undone when they're underwater so long. I hope you've figured out a solution. I've worn Ryka's aqua shoes for years as an instructor...superior to the rest!

Anyone who goes to a water fitness class would love these shoes. They dry quickly and have great support. I've been using them a month now and they are holding up. Do rinse them in clean water after use. Love them so far!

This is my 4th pair of Ryka water shoes and my first with a major complaint. The shoe is great; the removable insole has been cheapened beyond belief. Insole on this pair, unlike the other three, is thin, moves around and will surely not last as long as the shoes. I m really sad to see this. Ryka makes the only really good shoe for water aerobics. My first three pairs lasted about 2 years each and I usually take three-five classes a week. Though these shoes may last, the insole is already damaged a bit. Very disappointing!

I have a high arch and the shoes were too tight across the top of my foot - initially I thought they felt good and secure, but after water class my feet were sore on top. I have to return, however, loved the look of the shoes; they did dry fast and drain well.

The shoes look great and feel very light. I don't know if they are comfortable or not because I couldn't get my feet in them. The laces are very short and do not have enough give to open up the shoe to get your foot inside. A little more lace length would go a long way. As it stands, I have to return them.

I have used my shoes now for two weeks and the comfort level is there. I teach water aerobics twice a week for an hour. I found when I was on the deck the slip factor is there so be careful. In the water they are great. I also found getting them on alittle awkward takes some time to put them on. But once they are on you go girl.

I bought my Ryka Aqua Fit shoes to use for water PT and for water aerobics. I love these shoes! I wear a size 10 shoe and after reading reviews I bought these in a 10.5 which is a perfect fit for me.

I am glad to read the other people's reviews here who bought this shoe and said it was too tight on top of the arch and the laces were too tight. I could barely squeeze my foot into them, the opening was so tight. Agreed, laces way too short. Who designed these shoes at Ryka? They need to be fired. Pros - lightweight, good price. But back they go.

I was disappointed in this shoe I am using for my water aerobics class; I almost decided to return it. One of the plastic lace keepers (which is practically worthless in my opinion) came off after the second time I wore them. While the shoe is supportive, the tongue is very difficult to put into place. Naturally, if the tongue doesn't lie flat, the top of your foot gets rubbed and sore. It dries quickly, but this shoe needs more refinement.

I had the Aqua Fit 2 and loved them. These are a poor replacement product. Narrow, less arch support, less comfortable. They are lighter, however. I found the Aqua Fit 3 at another site and will be using them and returning these. Hope Ryka improves their design soon.

I have found the Ryka Aqua just perfect for the water exercise classes I take. I had knee replacement four months ago and the use of these shoes has really help me "stay put" on the bottom of the pool. They are easy to put on & off. Buying 1/2 size larger than my normal shoe size worked out great.

I should have believed the reviews. These shoes are terrible. My feet felt like they were in tourniquets and there is no way I could do water exercise classes with these shoes. I thought maybe they would loosen up if I wore them several times. I decided to return them because they are just way way too uncomfortable. I can wear a 6 1/2 w or a 7 medium and these were a 7 medium. It was almost impossible to get my feet into the shoes. I had to use my husband's shoe horn (even with that it required a lot of shoving my foot into the shoes). The laced area on the top of my foot was extremely tight. There is no additional shoe lacing provided so I could not loosen the laces. On top of that there is a plastic covering where the laces come together at the top of the shoe tongue. Take my advice and don't buy these! I am planning to read the reviews for other Aqua shoes and hope to still purchase a pair through Zappos.

If you have any mobility problems, stay away from this shoe. I wear an 8 but got an 8.5 because of previous reviews. I struggled to put them on as the lacing system makes the shoe too tight to put on easily. Once I got it on, the tongue was way too tight and rubbed my instep. The heel slips some, also. The footbed is comfortable, but that's all. These shoes are poorly designed and a great disappointment.

I love this shoe for aqua aerobics in both the shallow and deep ends of the pool. I like the fit because I have a narrow foot. It does take time to put the shoe on due to the snug fit. I would not recommend this for medium/wide feet but it works great for me!

I love these shoes for water walking at my gym's pool. I had my last Ryka's for 3 years and was nervous to replace them. Tried the Speedo's and had to return them - the quality is not the same as Ryka. If you want to feel like you're wearing quality athletic shoes in the pool, this is the way to go.

Cute shoe. Usually wear a size 7 and sized up to 7.5 after reading reviews below. However, the shoe was too large and I still couldn't get my foot in easily past the opening! I agree that it was a fight to get my foot in and out. Way too much effort for a sneaker. Back they go!
