I'm suprised the other reviewer gave this shoe such a poor review - I love it! I am a woman with big, wide feet (and medium arches) so I buy men's shoes for working out because it's hard to find my size in women's. I'm overweight [220 lbs.] so I need something with good support/shock absorption, and I do a variety of activities from weight lifting to spin class to a little jogging, so cross trainers are my shoe of choice. New Balance in general make great shoes (I've owned several pairs), but these are my favorite by a mile. Cross trainers tend to be bulky and make my feet look like Frankenstein. This style # however, is light as a feather. They are also comfortable (took just one or two works to break them in/for my feet to feel used to them), fashionable, and not outrageously priced, especially compared to running shoes (these ARE great for the small amounts of jogging/running I do). I'll definitely be buying a second pair.

The Asics Gel-Nimbus 11 has been a fabulous find for me. They have superior cushioning in the forefoot, and very good arch support too. At 45 I already have arthritis in my toe joints, and I am on my feet a lot during the day, so these Asics have been a wonderful find!

For me this shoes was a great find. Bought about three weeks ago. Put them on and have worn them everyday.Great for walking,running and all around.As another person has said. The ties are offset and do make me keep looking @ them. But very comfortable. At first I did notice it takes a while for your foot to shape the shoe. I have problems with shoes so this was a great surprise and fine.I am buying two more.

I'm very happy with my new Saucony's. I have never owned a pair of shoes in this brand. A salesperson at a local shoe store suggested that i check out Saucony's. I have an terrible time finding shoes that fit. I have one foot that is almost a women's 11 and another that is a 10.5. My feet are very narrow at the heel and wider at the toe bed. A narrow shoe pinches my toes together but a regular shoe, especially one that is long enough allows my heel to flop around. What an awesome salesperson at the local sporting goods store, he sent me out of his store to go buy a product he didn't sell because he knew it was the right thing for me, AMEN! I love Zappos. I ordered 5 different pair of Saucony's and got them the next day. Some women's 11 in wide and some men's 9.5 in standard width. They all felt really good. I had no idea how poorly my shoes have always fit. It was a hard decision i really liked them all but i selected the Grid C2 Flash in the men's 9.5. They are very light and sleek. The shoe has a narrow non-clunky look and feel. I have been wearing them non-stop for about a month and want to buy another couple pairs to just have on hand I like them so much. I am anticipating them to have a short life. They are softer, i think black sneakers get softer maybe when they dye the materials? I'm ok with replacing every couple of months. The comfort, fit and look are well worth the price. If they have any issue at all it's the tongue. I would prefer it to be just a little longer.

This is my second pair of Asic Gel Nimbus II. As an RN in an Emergency Department I walk miles a day at work. I also am lucky enough to have chronic plantar fasciitis and find that these shoes have the very best cushioning for my feet as I walk, (and sometimes run), 12 hour shifts. They are light and I like the asymmetrical lacing. My feet are wide and I think I can get a better fit. I switch out with a pair of Nike Vomero shoes but I most often prefer these. As long as they make them I will keep on buying them.I wish they came in brown or black so I could wear them with more dressy outfits, too.

I bought this shoe because it was supposed to be great for people with little to no foot arch. They are a running shoe dream come true. These are possible the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are so light, it almost feels as though you are not wearing anything on your feet.

As others have commented, the Nike Free runs narrow. This is a good thing for me since I have skinny feet; however, I have to wear thin socks with them. They are very comfortable.

perfect trail shoe for a minimalist runner. extremely flexible, nice and roomy (especially if you remove the insole), light and grippy. this is not your traditional hum-vee trail shoe. but if you are ready to let your feet do the work, pick up a pair!

Shoes are very comfortable but they are much narrower in the toe box then my previous 6 pairs of Asics (previous Asics were various styles, none of them were Nimbus). In fact, the Nimbus is too narrow for me. So please make sure you spend some time with them on your feet before cutting off the tags. I can't wear mine.

Fantastic running shoe. I have worn nothing but Adidas running shoes for the past 8 years, replacing them once a year. I typically run 3 miles 4/days week and do so effortlessly in this particular shoe. They are soft and pliable straight out of the box, requiring NO break-in time. They have great air circulation through top and sides of shoe and offer great heel and arch support for the average runner. After wearing many different styles of Adidas, I am now hooked on the Supernova!

The shoes are great! I absolutely love these shoes. I checked for pronation levels and such before purchasing. While looking over other reviews from various sites, I noticed many people bought these over a whim or sale. For maximum comfort and support, I recommend people to try before they commit. That's one thing great about zappos! Furthermore, when I walk/run in these shoes, I can feel how much better they are than all my other running shoes.

I am a 51-year old neutral runner who began running about 4 years ago. I put on about 3-4 miles several times a week. For a number of years, I was a fan of New Balance, but recently decided to change to the Gel Nimbus 11 after reading a review of them in Running Magazine. These shoes are by far the best running shoes I've ever worn. They required no breaking in period; they were comfortable right out of the box. The toe box is roomy, and the "off center" lacing is just one more feature that helps support the foot properly. I definitely feel lighter on my feet these days, and I will buy more of these shoes (maybe in different colors to add variety to my life) after these have served their purpose. I have never been a big fan of Nike and after I received these shoes I remember why. I ordered them because they were reasonable priced and I liked the way they look. I run four to five days a week mostly short distances (two to three miles). These shows are made very very cheap and will most likely not last long at all. If they did not have the Nike name they would priced at several dollars less. They fit very tight as well. Not comfortable at all. I will stick with New Balance and Saucony from now on.

I love these shoes! I picked these up for working out at the gym and for athletic classes. They are perfect. They are lightweight and feel like I am wearing just socks. I think that these are the perfect shoes for a good workout. I am a long distance runner, and I don't think that these are very good for a long run, so I use a more supportive shoe for that. But for everything else, I use these shoes and they are great! I did think they ran a teeny bit small. I usually wear a 6.5 and picked up a 7.

Beautiful. Love the color. They run a little big. Not by a half a size or anything, but perhaps now I'm thinking of it, they probably run closer to a true size. Know what I mean? I wear 11 in most shoes, and 11.5 in running shoes. Normally. But these are bigis, so order up two pairs to compare. Peace, love, run.

I got these because I had the Gel-Cumulus 10's and I really like them. Unfortunately these are nothing like their predecessor. The cushioning is much worse, I have yet to go for a pain free run in these. Also the padding in the upper part of the shoe is gone. The Cumulus 10's had a lot of upper cushion (it did make the shoe look bulky, but it was comfortable), these shoes did into the sides and top of my feet. They are very uncomfortable to run in. I would not recommend them at all.

I just finished walking a very brisk 3 miles both on and off the road. This was a test drive for these shoes and they were excellent. Perfect size, and very comfortable right out of the box (I wear an 8.5 4E). These shoes are also very light weight. As with all shoes I buy, the first thing I did was buy good sports insoles ($12.00 or so). For the price, I couldn't have made a better choice. These shoes already feel like I've worn them forever and are also great looking. I am totally satisfied with this purchase. Also, customer service and shipping were superior (1 business day shipping). I highly recommend these shoes.

Fabulous. Love these shoes. They're the lightest marathon shoes I've found yet they still offer surprising support. Definitely for the forefoot-landing runner, not a heel striker (they're a little low on the heel) and for neutral running (no pronation support). The MÄori-like design is terrific -- I wish Mizuno offered a matching outfit. Don't tell any other marathoners about these shoes -- they're my secret advantage!
