Not wide calf, but might work... I have 14inch calf (36.5cm), so despite the reviews saying the boot is too narrow in the calf, gave it a try. I did manage to zip it up, although it took some effort. They do feel tight 2/3 way up the calf, but I have a feeling they can stretch. I usually wear 6.5-7, got these in 7, feel okay, but 6.5 would have probably worked as well. Arch support not the greatest - can feel the heel, but could be worse. They do look very good once you get them on - since they are tight on the calf, they are very form fitting and there are no gaps. The inside has a synthetic lining; I was hoping it would just be leather. I’m 5'3" and they fit just below the knee. The ankle area does not seem to be too "baggy" like in some other boots. I initially got DKNY Anna boot, and sent them back, they were stiffer leather and took even more effort to zip. So overall, it is a nice boot. I rubbed it with mink oil and trying to stretch for more comfort. Look great once on!

After you stretch you will be in shoe heaven - This boot is Wonderful. I read the reviews about it being too small for a standard size 14.5 calf. IT IS TRUE...however...take your BRAND NEW REAL leather boots to a shoe repair and they will stretch them for you. Once that happens they are PERFECT. I get compliment after compliment about these boots. I feel like a NEW woman in these boots. mmmmmmm I LOVE em!

I have tried Stuart Weitzman shoes a few times. They are more expensive than I like to purchase, but if they were extremely comfortable, I would overlook the price. I tried these because they were on sale and very cute. The size seems to be fine, and I have a difficult time fitting shoes. I like the height and the design and these could have been the first of the designer that I kept, except that the sides of the shoe rubbed and scraped my foot. I don't know if they are unusually low or if the sides just turn in more than most. But I couldn't wear them if they would be constantly rubbing. Too bad too because they are adorable.

Not Wide Calf - I have a 15" calf and this boot didn't even come close to zipping up. It's definitely cute, but it is definitely NOT meant for a wide calf!

Smoking hot...if you have skinny calves - These boots would not even zip half way up over my 14-1/2" calves. Too bad, they are super cute.

NOT REALLY WIDE CALF! I am not a large woman... just have chunky calves, and even though this does have the stretchy "vent" at the top of the boot leg, it is narrow through the area above at the mid calf... so if you are buying this boot for the wide calf, think twice!

Not wide calf - The boots do not have a wide calf. Could only zip less than half way up the leg. Also the quality of the leather is not very nice. They were also scratched.

Wide Calf??? These are nice looking boots. They grey color is darker than pictured, but really beautiful. But I could not zip them more than half way up on my bare leg, never mind with jeans on. I own other RSVP wide calf boots that are huge on my calf, but these just are not wide enough.

There is no way this can be a wide calf boot - I was very disappointed when this boot did not zip up all the way. It is described as having 15" circumference which should have been plenty of room, but stopped zipping about 3 inches from the top. I would recommend the Fitzwell Kyoti boot for anyone who would like a wide-calf boot that will actually fit wide calves.

Not at all a wide calf boot - I have 17" calves, and this boot in a size 9 (NINE) didn't even zip at my ANKLE. This is absolutely NOT A WIDE CALF BOOT. It is beautiful and looks well made, and the shoe part was roomy and fit will, but it is falsely advertised as wide calf. I'd have to buy, what, a size 11 to get it to fit my calves?? I am very, very disappointed. This is such a nice looking all leather boot (I HATE stretch fabric boots, they look absolutely tacky on thicker calves).

Not exactly but it'll work. I was looking for gray boots to match a leather coat...in the pic, they looked lighter in color... being a tad bit darker than I wanted. None the less, extremely stylish!!

Ugly & Fits Poorly - I didn't like these boots at all. The weird two-tone brown leather looks cheap. The shaft is so high, they came above my knees. The good thing is that I WAS able to zip them over my calf, but the bad news is that's because they are SOOOOOO wide, I had at least an extra inch that gapped & I have a 16.5 inch calf. I was so disappointed when I took them out of the box & even more disappointed when I put them on, but I LOVED that Zappos shipped these to me for free to arrive less than 48 hours after I placed the order! I'm returning these & ordering a different boot.

I have been searching for a pair of white classy boots for about 1 year now. I found these and I was so happy. When they arrived they didn't look as cute as online. I can deal with that. But when I tried them on the ankle area was so roomy that it slouched, very bad. This pair of boots wasn’t cheap. I am returning them today.

Low Quality and Not Wide Calf - Wow -- I can't say how disappointing these boots were because the look is great and sexy. First, I have an average sized calf -- sometimes regular boot shafts fit great and sometimes they are too tight. So a "wide calf" boot should fit no problem, right? Nope. I couldn't even get the zipper more than two inches above my ankle. What a joke. I'd have to be Calista Flockhart to zip these babies. That's not right. Also, they weren't real leather--they smelled just like plastic when I opened the box and the look was cheap. They only look good in a dark club or at night.

There is a BIG difference in the BRENDA BOOT. The calf is NOT as WIDE as the BELINDA WIDE CALF, the Belinda fit my calf perfectly. I have the Red, Black, and Brown. The Brenda is a WIDE shaft, I have it in White and does not fit like the others.

So sad to return them - I'm still sad that I just printed the return label! These boots are so wonderful. But, they slouch on the ankle because they get so tight on the calf. I saw wide calf and couldn’t wait to try these on. I was in heaven when they zipped up, but it took a bit of effort on the last few inches. There is a small bit of stretch fabric on the top but they still get pretty tight. They are so comfy on the foot and if not for other than the above mentioned issue I’d be wearing these every day. So easy to walk in. High heel is like it’s not even there!

Disappointed in fit, but a beautiful boot - This is a fabulous looking boot - sexy and sophisticated. Unfortunately, the advertised wide calf was so narrow I couldn't zip it up (I have a 15 inch calf). Maybe the calf is relative to the size and I wear a size 6 - not sure, but there was nothing wide about this boot. I was very disappointed as I loved the look of the boot. The heel was too high to be comfortable to walk in more than probably an hour, so it wasn't a practical boot for me, but it's got a great look.

bummer. I have only one pair of boots (that were not specifically made for wide calves) and they fit way better than this pair. I was a ballet dance for 12 years so I have athletic calves, that measure to be about 15 inches in. and these boots were not even close to fitting. I would have needed another 2 inches or so to zip them once past my ankle. (I wear a size 7 1/2) I was also a bit disappointed in the material because it looked cheaper than I thought it would for this price of boot. However,I generally liked the style, and my foot was quite comfortable in the shoe.

Great fit and look but not sure about quality & comfort - Look-wise, these boots are hot. And they fit my wide calves-- I am surprised that they did not work for some other reviewers. I found the listed measurements to be accurate. Love the look of these boots but I do find them to be a little uncomfortable. That said, I do not usually wear high heels or pointy toes, so I may be a bit of a shoe wimp! I am also not sure these are the best made boots; they look very well-made, but after a few wearings I could feel the connection between the heel and the boot weakening on one boot from the pressure I put on the heel when driving and when sitting in a chair, resting my feet on the heels of the boots. I now try to avoid putting much pressure on the heel but I find it makes driving difficult because I usually use my heel as a pivot point with my gas pedal foot. It is a great-looking boot though, and for occasional wear it works well-enough for me. When I ordered these I ordered several other boots for wide calves and these were the best of the bunch. Five stars for Zappos' service!

Not wide at all - Feel silly for having ordered these without looking at the reviews. Calf part is not wide at all, but ankle is roomy. Will be returning them. Looks like stretch boots may be only option for wide calves.
