I am a size 1 to 2 women's; bought these on sale at Macy's for work shorts. I work in a restaurant and these are perfect. Dry quickly if you are washing dishes or cleaning and after a last minute wash. Adjustable fold waistband for perfect fit cute enough to wear out to the store or class as well. Never worn for swimming however. Only downside is waistband someones unfolds after long periods of activity, but slips up not down so the shorts never feel like they are falling off. Seem to be made well, highly recommend. I am 5'8 120 lbs got xl (only size in store) but I bet lg would have fit too.
