I really liked the look of this boot,my only problem is that I ordered a regualr shaft and it was still way to wide. I really wanted to keep the boot but it just didn\'t look right, w\/ that shaft.

Although the description states that the shaft is 16", I could not get the zipper up the boot.

Super comfortable! I originally bought the similar wide shaft boot from Ros Hommerson and found it to be too big on my calf. These boots fit perfectly! I wore them right out of the box, and had no problems with breaking them in. I actually wore them the first time to Disney World, taking an extra pair of shoes and expecting to need a change at some point, and never did! No blisters or anything! Happy feet!

After a long search, I was thrilled to find a size 12 boot in black leather that met my criteria: low heel, casual style, lightweight. The fit is accurate. The shaft is regular but I find it a bit loose on my slim legs; maybe they made it wider in proportion to the foot size. They look nice with both skirts and pants. I wore them for several hours the first day and almost all day every day after that until the weather warmed up here in Florida. They were very comfortable and lightweight, leather was soft. I was also impressed by the delivery service. After I phoned in the order on a Thursday at 6:30 pm, I was told it would be delivered on Monday, but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived just 20 hours later on Friday afternoon, just in time for a cold snap in my area.

The circumference is not true to size. I ordered another boot with a 15" circumference that worked better than this one. Disappointed since it's a cute boot overall, but I had to return since it didn't fit my calf.

I found the calf measurement to be too generous--I am a 15 and 1/2 (as advertised) and I felt like I was wearing galoshes--way too big for me there! The toe is pointier than I wanted and it felt cheaper than the David Tates I ended up keeping.

I'm so disappointed! I normally wear a size 10 W. I got this boots in that size, and they were too small. So I tried them in 11WW, and the sole and foot fit wonderfully. But the ankle was so baggy, I looked ridiculous! I don't have small ankles, but these were way too big. I was really excited by these, and wished so much that they'd fit well.

Fantastic price. Fits loose in the shaft, which works when wearing over pants. Heel is high enough to dress up and be comfortable at the same time. Being 5'10", it is a challenge to find a sexy shoe that doesn't make tower over my husband. Great shoe!

Finally! Well-made, dressy boots with a moderate heel and a shaft that accommodates a moderately sporty calf. And, they come in wide. I've been looking for years and have tried many brands, some more costly that this, and this is fabulous.

Nice boots. The patch on the inside gives big calves a little more flexibility, but it's on the inside so it doesn't compromise style.

I did like this boot and it's one of the few that I own that is a perfect fit. The leg part is more than ample if you have big legs, which I don't. You can put your pants down inside with no problem.

Fits overall very well. Shaft is not too wide, so I can wear them with or without jeans. Slightly too roomy around the ankles. I have wide feet (12DD), but I've found that these boots fit me comfortably.
