I wanted something basic, but comfortable and supportive for my feet. These boots did the job. Very nice design, and most importantly, there was no break-in time with these boots. They are great if you do a lot of walking.

These are extremely comfortable right out of the box and exactly what I was looking for. Enough room in the foot for a light sock. The ankle is fairly low and close-fitting, so they look good with skirts and narrow, cropped trousers. They are perfect for my "brainy architect" outfits. Don't let the tough-looking picture fool you, though, they are much more delicate in person.

Gosh, I wish these came one size larger! Gorgeous, comfortable - but just a little too snug for me. I've looked all over the internet and they don't seem to come in a 43. But I do recommend them. In the old days I would have put up with smushed toes (big shoes are hard to find!) but now I wait for the good fit. If you've got smaller than size 11.5 or so feet, enjoy!

These boots are absolutely perfect: stylish and incredibly comfortable. I got them in black, in my normal 9 size because I wanted a boot that would go with professional attire or jeans and leggings that would be elegant yet laid-back. Other boots seemed to bulky. These are streamlined, artsy without being clunky! They do not gap around the ankle yet they are not tight at all. The leather is of great quality. The scrunched styling gives a streamlined touch of style. I can wear them all day and walk miles without my feet hurting.

I am definitely a fan of Romika. I am now in the 2 for 2 category as far as fit being true to size, good arch support, no foot fatigue, no break-in period needed, and so soft you forget they are on your feet. I have worn them twice since I got them (which was only a few days ago), and I have had people stop me both times, asking me where I got them. I love when that happens. I highly recommend them. Though I consider them true to size, buy a half size up if you intend to wear them with thick socks. I wear them with a thinner sock and they fit perfectly. But a thick winter sock, you definitely need to up a half size, maybe even a full size. My only criticism is I wish they offered more color selection as it is a little tiresome when so many manufacturers make their shoes/boots in just brown or black. I would love to see these in olive, a dark purple (an in color this season in particular), a lighter brown, dark grey, and a more charcoal-style grey. A croc pattern might be nice too. My mother likes them so much, I am thinking of getting her a pair for Christmas.

I wish they were better made for the price. I paid full price and I kept them, but the insole is disappointing quality with very little cushion or arch support. I had to go buy an orthotic and put it in the shoe to make it comfortable to walk in all day. I do not normally wear orthotics. (Normally I just buy quality brands, like Clarks or Naot, which are at a similar price point to these Romikas but better made.) Also, the way the heel tapers toward the bottom makes them pretty unstable for nearly-flat boots. It is easy to turn your ankle if there's any wet leaves underfoot. Those cons aside, they are adorably cute, soft as butter, pair well with dress trousers for the office and leggings on the weekend. They are comfortable out of the box with no break in period. These boots will get you from your car to your office, but they could not withstand serious city street usage or weather. How much you will love them depends on what you want them for.

I love these boots. They are a bit expensive, but the leather is very soft and they did not need to be broken in at all. I am not sure how they will hold up under rougher winter conditions, but the looks, the comfort, and the quality are exceptional.

Fit was good, but didn't like the styling. Felt too casual and bohemian for my taste. Made my size 11 feet look too small, if that's possible. Nice shoe, but it's going back, thanks to the awesome Zappos free return shipping.

I already wrote a review when I bought them, but as I have been wearing them nearly daily, in bad weather and good, and after doing a lot of walking on them, I love them even more. Though not snow boots, I've had no worries tromping across not-quite-cleaned sidewalks after a snowfall, or in that nasty snow-ice slush that sets in a few days later. They hold firm to the ground. I have an unsteady, bum left knee, and I almost forget that in these boots; they are that sturdy and supportive. Not that I'd put them in the orthotics category, but close to it. I just wish they made this exact boot in a mid-calf style. (I feel the same about the Romika shoes I bought/reviewed. They feel as great almost a month later as when first purchased. And I am still getting compliments on both the bootie and the shoe when I wear either pair.) But again, my only real criticism is I wish they (boot and shoe) came in more colors.

Wow! What a great shoe/bootie (shoe tie). This is a keeper and my 30 year old daughter thought it was something that she would wear (if it ran narrow) and complimented me on up-to-date style. It fits perfect for medium foot and love the look and feels like a slipper on. It's so comfortable. I am very particular of what I wear esp 4 comfort and support. I'm not sure whether it accommodates orthotic but perfect the way it is. Though not waterproof. I will use this as my default shoe. I'm so happy with it.

These boots were super comfortable from the moment I put them on. The stretchy sides and zipper make them easy to wear and the ruching on front is stylish and makes my size 8 feet look small (and don't we all want that!). Plus, they wear beautifully and still look brand new.
