I liked how simple and sleek these booties looked. But then I read the prior horrible reviews about how cheaply they were made. But I bought them anyways in black and grey and I am so happy I did. I mostly work in an office setting so maybe I am not walking as much as the prior reviewers. But the boots I got seem to be made fine and they are as simple and sleek as they look on the site. I've received compliments on them. As a vegetarian, I also like that they are synthetic and not made from suede. I felt like it was a huge shopping coup when these worked out. I especially like the grey one which has a pretty lavender hue.

Still on the fence about these for myself (might look for a different finish rather than velvet), but wanted to share that they are quite comfortable. I have narrow feet and they are a bit roomy - perfect if you like to add a soft insert and extra arch like me - with an insert I think these shoes could be some of your most comfortable! I've tried a lot of ankle boots, and these are a great shape and the perfect heel height.
I'd also recommend: MIA, Madden Girl, Cole Haan

I bought these shoes on clearance. I had read the reviews that were available and for the most part they negative. I love the boots! The price was right, the style right on & the comfort awesome. I'm on my feet all day and I do not hesitate to select these boots for all day wearing,

Too cheaply made, I think faux suede is really just more like felt fabric. Will scuff and look bad too quickly, I am going to order some real leather/suede and spend a bit more. Cute, though.
