Rollerblade Activa 90 - Generally, a great set of blades. I have some concerns about the closure lasting a long time before it breaks. Though it is a much faster system, it does take a bit to get used to. Problem is that the brake is not interchangeable, from right to left skate, but I solved that by switching the blades from both the skates...now the logos are in the inside & not the outside. I think 'Rollerblade' should have the logos on both sides or not at all. I wish that would make the brakes interchangeable for us 'Lefties'!!!

Roll with Activa 90 - After 10 years of skating with my Bravoblade GLXs, I decided to go for a new pair. The Activa 90s took a little getting used to as the skate wheels are 90mm rather than the 72mm I am used to. The Activas are lighter in weight than the Bravoblades. The boot is actually fabric instead of molded plastic construction so it is more comfortable. The braking system is still very similar (if not the same). The memory system may require glancing at the included instructions as they are not intuitive. My Bravoblades simply required snapping three straps into place. The Activas, however, have a pre-laced set-up with a pull on the outer ankle. A strap across the shin secures the skate and you simply ratchet it down to tighten it and you use a lever to release the strap. Once on, however, the skates feel fantastic and I had a wonderful time in our local park. I recommend purchasing a helmet and pads and wearing them with every skating episode.
