For nearly 40 years, the Rockport® Company has been an industry innovator, the first to use advanced materials and technologies in classically styled shoes for men and women.
The Rockport philosophy of Walkability™ is simple: it means a shoe should fit your foot, not the other way around. It means premium materials, tailored to your lifestyle. It means adiPRENE™ by adidas® technology for comfort where you need it. It means developing innovative footwear engineering that responds to the foot's natural movements.
Building the ultimate footwear for a diverse and active lifestyle means constant evolution. The brand's unique partnership with adidas and the integration of adiPRENE technology into their collections is just the latest collaboration in a proud history of applying athletic-shoe science to casual and dress footwear.
Rockport's current collection is designed with the metropolitan professional in mind; shoes that take you from a challenging workday to a night out to a weekend away. Rockport styles are updated with more tailored, sophisticated profiles, offering a new, dress-up/dress-down versatility for men and women.
There is a renewed focus on classic patterns and an emphasis on quality, both in the materials used and in the construction of the shoe itself. Investing in a timeless product simply makes sense. The formerly causal, relaxed silhouettes have evolved into more tailored, sophisticated, and versatile profiles.

I am wearing this third pair of these shoes that I have owned over the last 10 years for 6 months now and can tell you with confidence, these are the best boat shoes made. The most comfort, the best materials and very consistent. I have wide feet (EEE) and the WW in this model is wide and stable. I live in coastal Texas and boating and water is our way of life. These shoes handle what you throw at them and come up smiling. 100% quality.

I found very little arch support in these shoes. The soles are stitched on in such a fashion that the stitching is exposed to the elements on the bottom of the shoe. A design / construction concept that I could not accept because the stitching would not be durable enough and the shoe would come apart if the exposed stitching degraded by exposure to the elements.

Rockport Ports of Call Perth has been the one comfortable shoe that I have worn since I graduated college 30 years ago. I still buy them for their all day comfort.
I'd also recommend: Sperry Topsiders

Very nice shoes. I wear a 13 extra wide, and these in 4E fit perfectly. I tried the Topsider Original in extra wide, and could only get my foot half way in. If you have high arches and a high instep, and need a truly wide shoe, give these a try. Like most boat shoes, they don't offer a great deal of support, but if you need a lot of support, get a walking shoe. As a boat shoe, these really shine.

Excellent fit, comfort, materials. Size is perfect. Thanks to Zappos, it's no longer hard to find a variety of 4E shoes with non-tight in-step.
