Comfort from the first step - I have several different Rockport shoes because I find they are the most comfortable for my wide foot. The On Road - Prowalker is equally generous in its proportions and was comfortable the first time out. I like the lacing that holds my foot firmly inside and I really like the look.

Comfort - My son now has shoes that are supportive as well as comfortable. He has thick, wide and hard to fit 'Flintstone' feet and is very happy with his choice.

Just the right shoe - I ordered this shoe for my husband who was in the hospital. His feet were very swollen due to some of his medical problems, and none of his shoes would fit, so he was unable to do much needed Physical Therapy. He normally takes a narrow width, but I had to order the extra wide for him and thankfully, Zappos had them in his size 11. They came in a matter of days, and they fit his swollen feet and ankles. He's home and still wearing them. Good shoe, nice looking and helped get my husband up and walking again.

Style and comfort you expect from Rockport - This is a very comfortable shoe. Good arch support and nice style. I purchased the all white version and liked them so much I bought a second pair.

Very good shoe; comfortable and walkable from the start. Would order again. Only criticism, if it is indeed that, is that it doesn't seem to lace up as tight as the top-of-the-line New Balance shoes that I am used to, but that would not prevent me from ordering the shoe again. I like the cleaner look (as opposed to the New Balance, that is).

Great shoe and greater service! I had another older version of this shoe. I only wear Wallabees but I also like this brand. I got this in 8D and it is great. Also I received overnight delivery for no extra charge and that was a wonderful surprise. Zappos is superior to all!

Built on a popular Rockport shoe last - The shoe is constructed on a comfortable, common last Rockport has used for years. The midsole is flexible. The upper is a bit stiff, but the shoe is comfortable from the get-go. The shoe has no arch support, but has room for orthotics. I use them with Posture Control Insoles which turns them into motion control shoes. The insole plus a good shoe last like the Pro-Walker has kept me pain free for years.

I tried to replace my previous pair of Rockport Prowalker shoe M9046 71H5 Tan size Wide 10-1/2. I was told that this shoe was discontinued and replaced by APM35519. I was disappointed to find there were no eyelets to support the lace holes, and this style seemed more like a bowling shoe than a walker. I am returning this shoe and will continue my search for a replacement of my previous shoe. I will however stay with Rockport shoes; they are comfortable walking shoes.

Overall the shoe is good but not great. The shoe length seems to be true to the size, but not the width. I have a 2E width and the shoe could have been a bit wider. Also the sole cushion could be a bit more padded.

We have searched for these shoes forever! My dad, who is 92, will not wear anything else. Zappos had them in his size and his color choice. They came just when they were supposed to be delivered and he is ecstatic! Many thanks, Zappos!

The shoe is not very comfortable. I replaced the in-sole with a different type and it now has more cushioning and support. Also, this is the first sneaker that I have ever had, that makes a noise when I walk. The noise is like something hitting a flat surface. I have worn Rockport walking shoes and have been very satisfied. This sneaker is a disappointment.

This is the second pair of these shoes I have bought. They last well (with over two years of daily wear) and are one of the few extra wide, light colored shoes available. There is lots of plaster dust in my work environment and light colored shoes are must.
