Bought these for my husband. He wears size 13 EEE and loves the fit and style of Rockport shoes. We bought these for casual, but he has other styles that are great for the office. Waterproof is an added plus.

Shoe is comfortable and semi-dressy. I used it to replace some regular black dress shoes. They are not as dressy as spit-shine leather, for sure, but in some cases one can get by with it. I seldom wear black shoes but these will get me through those times with comfort. Though I checked "felt true to width"...these were maybe just a touch wider. I say that because another pair of a different brand were 'just a touch' narrower...and I returned them. These: order your width and you'll have every bit of that room.

Very comfortable! The 12W was about 15mm too wide for my big foot; they were flopping around on me. I'm going to try the 12 regular.

I have purchased at least 7 or 8 pairs (I've lost count) of the Northfield shoes over the years and there's no better casual shoe for me. No break-in time and no fatigue, whether I am walking a construction site, walking through a mall, or in the office. Very comfortable shoe. Quality of construction has been consistent too. I have tried other shoes and brands to get out of the rut, but I keep coming back to these. Now have all three color options.

I bought the Nubuck Rockport Northfields for work. I wear a tie everyday, so it's a business casual atmosphere. I had these shoes in black several years back and have basically compared each dress shoe to these. These Northfields are the gold standard. Once the initial break in period is over (common with most all shoes), they are substantial and extremely comfortable. You can't go wrong with these shoes. To say they are awesome, cool, fantastic or superb is an understatement. They are simply put, amazing. And the Shipping at Zappos, are you kidding me? Overnight for free! Zappos made it an extremely pleasant experience.

My husband is a big guy and he needs a sturdy pair of walking shoes to get him from the train station to his office high rise. At the same time, the shoe has to look dressy enough for a white collar environment. This shoe hits the mark. It's affordable, it's comfortable, it's sturdy, it's dressy, and he can really put some miles on them.

Great basic shoe, almost no break-in time, and really holds up. I took a pair of these, along with many other shoes, on a six month tour and ended up only wearing these - fantastic for long hours of walking/sightseeing, and they look classic/basic enough to pass for dressier events. Even wore them to the gym a few times when my sneakers gave out - not a good look, but perfect support there too. This is a great shoe.

Not a super dressy shoe, but looks good with business casual, and it's far and away the most comfortable dress shoe I've ever owned! I wear these every day for about 8-9 hours, and I'm on my feet almost all day long.
