I have only worn these boots twice since I received them, and so far they are great. The second time I wore them it was raining hard, and my feet stayed nice and dry. I also bought them because of the heel size so that my pants would not hit the ground, and the heels are a perfect size for most dress pants. As for comfort, so far so good; I was able to walk quick and far without any pain. I'm sure with a heavier sock they will be warm enough to wear in the snow. Oh, the other great thing is that I did not slip on the ground or when walking in buildings that have slippery floors. I take an 8 1/2, and it was a good fit but with room, as I said, for a thicker sock.

Love the style and height. It's pricier than last year. Shinny black is not too overwhelming. Too narrow at the toes, but got room on the top of the feet? Each time I wore them, always with socks, they hurt my toes and under the feet, sometimes they even created blisters. However, I walk fast and a long distance, 20 mins each way to/from train and office. Kept my feet dry from rain, and my feet never sweated in them either. They'll be helpful on slippery snowy days. I have to keep them because I've already worn them outside before realizing they hurt my feet. Trying indoor never could 100% predict what the shoes will do to you in the real life situation.

Nice looking shoe boot, however, because of my high instep had to return. Patent leather is very shiny.

I purchased these boots last minute for a trip to Scotland in January, and they exceeded my expectations. They fit the moment I put them on, look nice, and kept me warm and dry through urban walking, lochs and moors. I recommend highly for anyone who needs a heel to accommodate pant length but has serious walking to do in weather.

I usually wear a size 6.5 but after reading some of the reviews I decided to order these a half size up and got a 7. Without socks they were very loose, but with socks they fit perfect. They look really cute and are so comfortable! The heel height isn't even an issue because it doesn't feel like 3" at all. They go on and come off real easy. I'm so happy I finally have a pair of comfortable rain boots!

I'm usually a 5E but in these the 6.5M fits well (which probably means they run small length-wise but true to size width-wise). Also have high arches/instep, and the arch support is good plus they're easy to get into in spite of not having a zipper. The platform makes the high heel comfortable, and even with the big wedge they're not heavy. Basically, I love everything about 'em - so much so that I also bought the knee-high version!
I'd also recommend: Sperry
