Fantastic shoe! With the whole nude/neutral trending in summer fashion, I loved that this shoe leans toward taupe rather than peachy - looks fabulous with so many colors. Very comfortable, beautiful attention to detail on the leather wrapped platform and heel, and a very nice looking buckle. True to size and a perfect versatile summer choice for a strappy heel.

I purchased this shoe in the navy color, and I couldn't be happier with it. The shoe is strappy and just a bit sexy without being over the top -- I've paired them with dark wash cropped jeans to dress up an outfit without actually dressing up, and the navy color is spot on for this. The first time I wore these, I put them on in the morning and didn't take them off until evening. The leather straps are soft, the shoes are extremely comfortable (even with the heel height), and they're very stable and easy to walk in!
I'd also recommend: Nine West, Steve Madden, Michael Kors

I love the Rockport Janae styles - I have this strappy sandal version and the bootie version! They're very well-made and extremely comfortable. The balance of the shoe is great. Even though the heel is high, it doesn't feel like it because of that balance - the platform in the front is the perfect height and takes the pressure off the ball of my foot without looking "clunky." The straps are soft and smooth and don't cut into my feet. These strappy sandals look sexy, but don't make me suffer for it! I would definitely recommend this.

The Rockport Janae sandals are beyond beautiful - I love them. They have a timeless elegance, yet are modern and current. The leather is soft and supple and the foot bed is resilient. I wear an 8 1/2 but ended up with 8s. I think these run a bit large. I love that the strap is adjustable, too.

I wanted to love this shoe and ordered it in 3 colors to try -- I think I got the wrong shoe for the black suede, because it seemed more like a snake print and texture. Anyway, the heel seems too narrow for the thickness of the platform and looked out of proportion. The front was too loose and the arch was in the wrong place for me. My feet also slid forward while walking. Hubby thought they were pretty sexy, but they squeaked when I walked on the hardwood floor which was a dealbreaker. Nice grippy sole, though. The Rockport/Adidas collab reminds me of Cole Haan/Nike Air, but not as successful comfort-wise. Thanks Zappos for free shipping both ways!
