I have not owned a pair of Rockport shoes in many years. I am happy I gave these a chance. They are stylish and easy on my feet which is a great combination. The Adidas cushioned insert is soft, supportive and very comfortable. These DresSports can work well with jeans, chinos or a suit. The finish may not have enough shine for some when it comes to pairing with a suit, but they certainly can work for that purpose.

These shoes are comfortable, lightweight, and stylish. They feel almost like sneakers. I had my doubts about this shoe because I was looking for slightly upscale everyday shoe with a combination leather and rubber outsole for traction plus breathability. These Dressports truWalk made me forget that quest. These are comfortable to walk in because of the contoured sole and feather-like weight. I feel like I hardly have anything on my feet. Previous shoes I had with an EVA outsole were similar in comfort, but the EVA foam wore out prematurely. The polyurethane outsole in these Rockports seems like it will be more durable plus the heel has a firm rubber layer, which I hope will aid the durability. My only complaint is that the tongue and inside of the upper rub together and made a noticeable low-pitched squeak any time I move my feet, not just while walking. I hope some polish will alleviate that nuisance noise. I'm thinking of buying some black truWalk cap toes or chukkas to complement my brown moc fronts.

These shoes are very comfortable right out of the box. The toe area of the shoe is a little longer than I expected, but this actually gives them an updated look. Also, the truWalk technology gives these shoes a rounded-heel vs. a sharp-edged-heel, which makes it very easy to walk quickly. Given that I try to walk a minimum of 10,000 steps a day I am excited to have a pair of dress shoes that will allow me to grab a quick mile or two walk at noon with out requiring a change of shoes. I also highly recommend Zappos for their exceptional customer service.
Brands I'd also recommend: Ecco, Mephisto

Fantastic shoe. One of the most comfortable I've ever worn. Looks great, too.

I currently have a pair of the black Schemerhorn's by Rockport and they are one of the best pairs of shoes I have ever bought for dress/work. I wanted to try out Rockport again, so I ordered these. I was disappointed with the sole and how squishy it was. It will definitely not hold up to the daily grind of the office. I could see the rubber eventually fraying or tearing. The rubber sole on the Schemerhorn is much harder. In over a year's use, my current Schemerhorn sole has barely worn. I opted to return the DresSports truWalk Moc Front and get another pair of the Schemerhorns.

While I haven't worn these too much yet, I sort of agree with the previous review citing the squishiness of the soles. I do wish it was a little firmer...just sort of feels odd, but comfortable. Overall, pretty positive but not blown away as I hoped.

Not as great looking a shoe as it may seem in photos, but not horrible. I have a medium width foot, but found that the front of this shoe was quite narrow, making walking very uncomfortable. I like Rockports a lot, but have returned these on both aesthetic and functional grounds.

They simply look funky. The upper and lower look awkward when worn. The toe box area has a funny shape to it; simply not my style. Also, I ordered 4E wide and they were at best a EE; too narrow.
