I've had foot pain for the last couple years wearing random dress shoes priced slightly less. I decided to try these out since other people on here raved about the comfort. Needless to say I was not disappointed by other reviewers' comments. These shoes are ridiculously comfortable as compared to other shoes I've worn. They are light, padded nicely, and have good support. I'm thinking about buying a second brown pair to change up the color schemes. Overall I am very happy with these shoes and the reviews others have given them. Cheers.

These are nice shoes. Lightweight, very comfortable and they look good. Perfect if you need a pair of traditional, basic black shoes. So far, I have only worn them a few times, once in light rain. Time will tell how well they hold up. For the price, I expect them to last a few years if I wear them twice a week in reasonable weather.

Very comfortable and very light shoe. The toe is pointed, but it is long so that the fit is the same as other Rockports. This makes the shoe longer than usual, but very stylish.

Have owned Rockport dress shoes for many years now & love them. These are a even a step above the ones from before re comfort! They are like dress shoes with tennis shoe comfort - I love them!

I am updating my review of Aug 2010 - the more my husband wears these, the more he likes them. He says they're the most comfortable dress shoes he's ever worn! Well worth the price, and very classy-looking.

I bought these shoes for my husband. They look very nice and professional and were comfortable straight out of the box. The only small stylistic point is they had a more pointy toe box than I was expecting. This did not affect either the fit or comfort but does make the shoes look slightly more dressy than your average business casual shoe.

Extremely light, yet with good support, this is a very comfortable shoe. It is smart looking and can be worn for most business purposes. It is very reasonably priced, but the rubber heels and soles wear quickly and are not easily replaced (if they can be replaced at all). So one needs to buy a new pair when the heels have worn down, and that brings the effective cost of these shoes closer to higher priced shoes on which the heels and soles can be replaced.

Like a sneaker! A couple of years ago, after going through many cool looking, but ultimately uncomfortable, even painful shoes and I decided to purchase a pair of Rockports. I will wear no other dress shoe. Sure, the materials appear a little cheaper than I would like and a bit of a Payless look. Still, the shoes are durable. More importantly however, they are comfortable. Really. really comfortable. I run up and down subway stairs in NYC, taking them two at a time and I kid you not, these shoes feel like sneakers. I've also ridden a skateboard in shirt and tie through Battery Park Manhatten in wearing these shoes on several occasions. I couldn't do that in any other shoe. And I'm 47.

Good for me as Rockports are. Best part was the super fast Zappos delivery, order to door in less than 36 hours. Impressive.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. The shoes also look good too. The issue I had was with the leather. It looks and feels a little cheap. At this price range, I was expecting a little higher quality. The shoes also feel a little out of place when wearing a suit since the sole is dull and is textured with a line going through it.

These shoes are far inferior to the Rockport Dressports APM 24991 (501843-T05 or -L05) of which I bought several pairs about 3 year ago. Those soles and heels wore like iron. Unfortunately, Rockport doesn't seem to make those shoes any more.

Ordered these for my husband knowing that he loves Rockport shoes. Right out of the box, they felt light and looked sleek. On his feet they were extremely comfortable.
