Bought these for a more modern look with shorts. I wore them with no socks for a whole weekend, walking several miles on the riverwalk, and was amazed how comfortable they were. There is no smell, and my achilles didn’t bother me for the first time in months. Seems like the heel is more cushioned than I am used to, and walking feels great. Couldn’t be happier with the shoes, and Zappos is the premier on-line company, I never go anywhere else for my wide feet!

I was so upset when I got this shoe. It looks awesome and the outer feel of the shoe is great, but I struggled to put it on. I wear a 14WW from Rockport now, and that shoe was actually roomy, so I decided to try a 14W here, but this wasn't even close. Beware on your sizing here as these shoes will run way small all around. I didn't walk around much in them but seemed comfortable (aside from the shoe being small).

This is the first time I've ever purchased and worn loafers but I'm glad I chose these particular brand and style. The dress-shoe like design works best with my business casual wardrobe while the lighter stitching gives it a casual tone with my jeans and a nice shirt. I ordered my regular shoe size and, like other reviews of this shoe, I had a difficult time getting the shoe on (almost painful). The shoe was very tight but the length was just right. The shoe loosened up about a week into wearing it to work, however I advise using a shoe horn. My only complaint is that there is not that much arch support, which is particularly noticeable if you walk a lot at work. Overall, I love the shoe and I just received my other Cape Nobles in dark brown.

Comfortable once on, but difficult to get into with low heel and no back strap or tab to pull.

These are great shoes, and I have been trying to find them in my size for a long time. Be aware that these are slightly different than the non-Bennett Lane versions of the Cape Noble. These were a whole size smaller than the I normally wear. The Cape Noble size 16 was too big and 14 too small so I figure 15 would be right on. However, the Bennett Lane Cape Noble 15 was way too small, so now I'm looking for 16.

Super comfortable and great looking. Especially with light colored jeans or pants and some colorful socks. Only drawback is the white bottoms get dirty quickly.

These are great shoes. I have a pair in black as well, they look great with a pair of khakis and they're very comfortable. As some reviewers have pointed out, you may want to use a shoe horn to slip them on. They are a little tight to slip on at the heel at first, but they feel good once on. And unlike many other brands that make a similar shoe (usually referred to as driving shoes) the sole on these is durable and runs to the end of the toe (unlike most of the similar driving shoes - that have a flimsy sole that does not extend completely and exposes the bottom of the leather on the toe) and they are suitable to walk in all day.

This is a pretty minimalist shoe. It is thin-soled, flexible, and lightweight. It is an excellent driving moc or casual office shoe, and the color really is something that stands out. It comes with a nice footbed, otherwise it's unsupported in many ways. However, it has a neutral feel which is very nice.

Great shoe. They are light and comfortable, but feels well made. Sizing was an issue. I needed a full size larger than what I normally wear. The rust color is great!
