The shoes are well made and have the look and feel of an boat/dock shoe in an Oxford package. While they are more comfortable than the typical dock shoe, after a few hours on my feet I find my "dogs are barkin'."

I am happy with the shoe and pleased that a EE is actually wide enough. Don't get the shoes if you need to sneak up on people because they are noisy.

Everything about the Barrow Loft Banni yells tough and durable. Rockport designed the Barrow Loft Banni with heavy stitching across the toe box and around the shoe; it has thick laces and gripping soles. The Banni expresses a sturdy, crossover-casual masculinity. It looks reassuring and wears comfortably. The downside of the Loft Banni is the lack of porting or venting. Unfortunately, the leather paradigm is still driving the same styles and designs, despite the simulated leather materials now being used in shoes and boots. But leather breathes and sim-leather does not. The Bannis definitely do not. After my first 45 minutes in the Loft Bannis, my feet roasted. I have to kick them off immediately whenever it's appropriate. First chance, I'm taking them to a shoe repair vendor to install venting ports.

My husband is a 8 (4E) a difficult size to find. We purchased these and they are a perfect fit. A great comfortable/casual shoe.

Great fit and style! Looks good with khakis or jeans, very comfortable to walk in (I walk 1 mile each day).

My husband tried on about12 pairs of shoes (thanks to Zappos' free return policy he were able to shoe shop without leaving the living room). Due medications, his ankles swell by the end of the day. Every pair of shoes he tried on were uncomfortable except the Rockport Barrow Loft Banni. He is so excited because "they are the most comfortable shoes he's ever worn. They even accommodate his orthotics he needs for plantar fascia.

Fits great right out of the box however for best comfort use a Dr. Scholls insert in addition to the insert that comes with the shoe.

I ordered these shoes from Zappos a year ago. They are everything they were claimed to be as far as comfort and looks go. I am the owner of 6 or 8 pairs of Rockport oxfords, and I spend all day on my feet. I would recommend them to anyone who is hard on shoes.

This pair is very comfortable, it's not so casual that I can't wear them to work, which I do. Looks good with docker type pants or jeans. Very soft inside, good support. I like the feel of most Rockports. Zappos delivery time is unbelievably great. Their refund policy is second to none, and their customer service on the phone is very good if you need to speak to someone. We don't even worry about ordering more than one pair to try different sizes thanks to their return policy. Not the cheapest price you might find, but reasonable. A 365 day return policy & they cover freight both to the house or on returns, are you kidding me? Zappos is one of the best companies I know.

They look classy and are an affordable, everyday shoe. The left shoe [inexplicably] caused blistering/uncomfort on my Achilles tendon, which is highly annoying. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this purchase, and always happy with Zappos as a company!

My son actually found a pair of respectable shoes in his large size that he likes, I like, his father likes, that were a good price, and they were delivered fairly quickly. Zappos, I am one happy Mom. You have no idea, or maybe you do and that is why you now exist, how difficult it was to find just the right shoes in the correct size for a respectable price. You have got our business. Keep up the good work!
