I have a couple of pairs from the Rockport Dress Sports line and like them (extremely comfortable) but are not as dressy as I'd like at times, so I bought the Alpenglow and love them -- exactly what I was looking for, Rockport comfort (not quite as comfortable as the Dress Sports) but more stylish/dressy. The more polished/glossy leather finish is more typical of a dress shoe (Dress Sports are more flat, less glossy finish). Very happy with these; bought them in both Chili and Black.

Great shoe for work! I bought my first pair of Rockport dress shoes last year and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I have worn at work. I needed a brown pair so I purchased these and they are of the same quality and comfort of the first pair I purchased. If Rockport continues with this comfortable shoe for all their designs...it might be the only brand I purchase in the future. Oh, and Zappos was great to deal with as always...awesome customer service.

The Rockport Alpenglow is a very comfortable and versatile shoe. In fact, the enter soles feels as though they are massaging your feet while you're walking. I have shoes that are more expensive, but not as comfortable. This was a very wise purchase.

Great shoe all around, comfortable and stylish. There is some sort of minor cushioning/support system along the arch of your foot which is subtle yet comfortable and effective, although I could see how it might not be for everyone as it is very slightly springy. Only complaint is it's not too hard to scuff the front toe area, but otherwise really nice. Size 16.

Wow! Zappos is unbelievable! I ordered the shoes for my son on a Tuesday at 4:55 and they were delivered at my house before 11am the next day. Not even 24 hours! And, the fact that they had this size in stock and could get it to me that fast in December was awesome! I tell everyone about Zappos now!

Great shoe and better service The shoes were in the mail the same day and the second pair I wanted they had me on a waiting list and as so as it was available they sent an e-mail and I ordered and it to was in the mail the same day. No delivery charge. Great experience. Sharon

The only problem with this shoe is that the heel wears out quickly. I rotate 4 pairs and this one wore out in 6 weeks. It is a very comfortable shoe.

These are great shoes. Extremely comfortable with Adidas insoles. They fit great and I wear size 15 athletic shoes so these are great. The tips are extremely dark, much darker than the rest of the shoe, but they fit so good I didn't even care.

This is a great shoe at a great price. I would recommend this to anyone. I travel a lot and need a comfortable, nice looking, Slip-on shoe. The size is true for length. I needed a wider shoe than I normally get in lace-up style (D to EE). This worked for me having a very high arch.

I bought this for my husband, who has wide feet and often runs into problems with finding a shoe that fits. This one was a perfect fit! And it looks very spiffy. The toe area is a little darker and then blends into a nice brown. Thanks for making these wide options available!

This is a really great shoe! I'm surprised at how quiet the step is with these soles -- I can't even hear a step, and I typically have a heavy foot fall. I would recommend this shoe to others. Be sure to keep something handy for the scratches as this leather can take a scratch fairly easily.
