Hubby loves these for their perfect fit, comfort, and dressy look. Will probably buy again. He's a longtime Rockport fan, but this was a blind test in that he didn't know which brand he was so happy with (I got him two different pairs and he didn't pay attention to the labels). For what it's worth, he's very flatfooted.

Unfortunately the shoe construction was very poor quality. The elastic band was torn within 2 months and the heel glue was deteriorating within 4 months. Comfort was decent but due to quality issues wouldn't buy the brand again.

The only problem with this shoe is that the heel wears out quickly. I rotate 4 pairs and this one wore out in 6 weeks. It is a very comfortable shoe.

My husband really likes the comfort and the width of this shoe. Zappos shipping is very fast, especially that we are in an APO area.

My boyfriend is very choosy when it comes to his wardrobe, but when I told him about Rockport's outstanding reputation -- and showed him the range of styles...he was intrigued. He has been wearing his Rockport Alpenglows for only a few days, and each day he raves about the comfort, the style, and the durability of these shoes. He has compared the comfort to that of his favorite tennis shoes. Size 13 Wide shoes are not easy to shop for, and buying online is sometimes taking a big chance -- but Rockport doesn't disappoint. Thank you! He loves them!
