Holes in the soles!
These shoes are cute but deceiving! The sole looks sturdy but it wore down under the balls of my feet after just a few months. At first my feet just got cold after walking for a while... then one day they got wet. I know Rocket Dogs aren't meant to be Merrells or anything, but I think a pair of boots should last longer than one winter!

First snow boot since junior high...
Great service from Zappos, first of all! I got my second pair, (since the first didn't fit-needed a half size smaller) in less than 24 hours after I received the first pair. I think I live fairly close to one of their warehouses...
I love the boot; I've not had any 'snow' type boots since I can remember. It has been great for our last few snows that we've gotten in Detroit. I'm glad that I bought them. The fuzzy inside keeps your feet quite warm.

First of all, I love Rocket Dog shoes. They are very stylish and I love the boots just as much. They are warm and pretty comfortable. The only thing is that they seem to run a little bigger. There seems to be a lot of room in the foot and when I walk my foot lifts and the boot rubs the back of my ankle. That is my only complaint, otherwise I love these boots.

I thought these boots would be awesome and I had read all the reviews before making the purchase. I have had them for about 4 months and the bottom of both heels have gotten holes (just the exterior rubber) and they don't support very well. They are not waterproof. I won't buy this brand again, overpriced for the product.

I bought these in an 8.5 thinking they wouldn't fit because of the previous reviews that stated they felt larger than listed (I usually wear a 9). These fit perfectly. The only thing I'll need to add is some arch support and will suit me well when I travel to Europe as my walking shoes for a week. I'm glad I took the chance on the size.

Nice boots… just add your own arch support and you can wear them all day. They do fine in the cold...we have 4 feet of snow and less than 20 degrees every day… no problem. Don't touch the laces… leave as they are since you don't need to loosen to remove boots. I would recommend… good comments from friends as well.

Good but short -
Very cute boot that is great for snowy weather. This boot is short in size and wide. I'd suggest very thick socks if you have narrow feet like I do. My toes hit the front of the boot so it feels at least a half size too small.

I ordered these for my daughter in law. She saw them in a store somewhere. My son got the SKU number and of course they were available here She loves them says they are really comfy and fit perfect.

Freaky-looking feet -
I adore Rocket Dog, but these boots are ridiculous. Even after water-proofing, they're soaked if I walk through more than an inch of snow. And the foot-part of the boot is so tiny compared to the shaft; my feet look freakishly small in them. And really, they're not even that comfortable. I hate to say it, but this is the first Rocket Dog purchase that I sorely regret.

Cute, comfortable and cozy -
It's a fact—every time I've worn these boots, there's no shortage of compliments on how cute they are. In addition to their eye-catching design, I love the fleece lining that extends all the way through the boot & trims the collar; I'm one of those people with chronically cold feet, but in these boots I'm always toasty warm. Though the felt sole is a little strange, I've worn these boots on snowy days multiple times & never had any trouble. The only con is the total lack of arch support and cushioning in the footbed, but it's nothing the addition of cushioned insole can't fix. Overall, a cute, cozy boot that's great even in the snow.

Great boots -
I love these boots; I ordered them before the winter season last year and am wearing them again this winter. They are great for me since I'm a college student at the University of Minnesota (and Minnesota = cold and snow), and the campus is one of the biggest in the U.S. I'm ALWAYS tromping thru the snow and walking far distances to go to class, these are cozy and comfortable and cute. I usually wear 2 pairs of socks when I wear these though so that my feet don't have much room to slide around and so they fit snugly.

Who puts felt on the bottom of shoes???
The Good: the boots are adorable, but that's where the praise is going to stop. The Bad: the portion that gives the back heel structure bunched in such a way that it dug in to my Achilles tendon resulting in a painful bump which still has yet to go away. I think this was because the boot was not true to size and was a bit big on me. The second problem and probably the worst problem is that Rocket Dog thinks it’s trendy to put felt on the bottom of the outer soles of their footwear. If anyone has walked on wet felt, they would know the two don't mix (or even dry felt on hard flooring). This slippery combination resulted in me falling down a flight of cement stairs at a sports arena. They look like winter boots to me and give warmth like them. So, why would a company not put a complete rubber sole with some traction on the bottom of their boots???

I have never been comfortable in boots....but these are the exception! They are roomy, comfy, and very warm. I didn't think the sizing ran big, they were actually a little the opposite. They are so cute, everyone compliments me on them.

Super Cute, but not efficient.
I loved the looks of this boot...I got the brown plaid ones. They are so cute and fashionable. BUT they do not keep your feet warm and dry! And they are pretty uncomfortable, but I think all rocked dog shoes are uncomfortable. I have a high arch and these boots do not provide any support. So these are awesome boots for the look, but not for practical use.
