The personal archive of Robert Clergerie sits there including designs that have changed the basic lexicon of his business. Robert Clergerie shoes come in every shape and size imaginable! In 1981, Robert Clergerie started designing his own line. He set it off with the lace-up oxford, a man's shoe made for a woman. He then did his parallelogram heel in 1984, which was so widely imitated that it was known as the "Clergerie heel."
