This purchase was the best money I've spent in a long time. I have had them for about 3 months and they still look like new. The break-in period is not really long and they are quite comfortable after only a couple wears. They are very comfortable and I have received several compliments on them as well. The best part is the distressed leather makes it so that even if there is a stain or scuff, it looks natural.

Theses are great boots, very comfortable. I wear mine 8 hours a day on a concrete floor and my feet don't ever hurt. They shape to your feet quickly and are true to size.

Very impressive boot. The styling is top notch, leather is thick and durable, stitching is solid, and the sole is very grippy. The fit is typical of what you would find in a cowboy boot (tight around the forefoot, loose on the heel). However, I found that it lacked the lateral support I had expected. Overall, an excellent comfortable boot. Easy on, easy off and very well built. I love the fact that the side goring is hidden under layered leather, and even though the heel is a bit loose, I'm considering trying out a half size smaller (might be even tighter on the forefoot, but the leather will eventually meet the form of the foot and at least the heel should feel better).

Brands I'd also recommend: Ecco and Clarks.

Awesome boot, very comfortable. Easy to slide your foot in and out of. I am normally a 9.5, but I had to send these boots back because of heel slippage, I got a 9 instead and it fits perfect. So I would say order a half size under.

The Colt Minor is a piece of American rugged tough guy! I love this boot. I needed a boot that could handle and look good in the desert, Climbing a hill, playing in a little snow and still look good in the Mall or going out to dinner. Don't believe me that this boot can do it? I just proved it to my Scottsdale city slicker, mall tootin' girlfriend. We went on a cabin retreat leaving the 70s for some snow. I used these boots for our New years dinner and we went sledding all in one week, and she said over and over. Darn those are cute on you! I am going to buy a second pair before they don't make them anymore. I wear a 8.5-9, I bought the 8.5 and the snug fit is perfect.

Great boots. Good soles, good uppers, the leather straps make it a bit hard to get into the first few times but once they stretch a bit it is easy to slip in and out. They are super comfortable, very warm yet easy to where inside as well. I would recommend.

Bought this for my husband. His only negative comment is that the left shoe felt smaller than the right shoe. But overall, he is happy with the construction and thinks it is really well-built. The nice vintage look of the leather is a major plus for him too. Most definitely warm to wear out walking around in the Chicago winter weather.
