I love these boots. in response to them being hard to take off I almost agreed. I was struggling to get them off when my wife gave me a puzzled look and said "why don't you undo the buckle?" Duh, I did and had no problem taking them off.

I have had great times with Zappos in the past but not this time. Boots came scuffed and heavily demo'd. They were however on sale and my girl loved them so I was going to keep - but - looked inside and noticed a missing footbed. Flat tire. I have confidence they will fix the problem but at the moment I was about to end my online boot buys.

Took some breaking in on the right heel, but other than that they are great. Very comfortable and look nice as well.

This is the second pair of Maxwells that I have bought after wearing the first for about two years. With regular use and periodic polishing, the leather of the uppers became very supple, and comfortable. If I had any complaint, it would be that the outsole is made out of a light duty compound with shallow tread that wore out relatively fast, even for daily wear boots. The faux leather stacking material covering the heels started peeling away after about a year which took away from the overall appearance of the boot. Arch support probably isn't the best for those who really need it, but these are more fashion than function oriented. Despite this, I seriously considered having them resoled but instead just bought another pair that will probably give me another 1-2 years of satisfied, regular use.

Awesome, I could not believe the speed with which my boots were shipped and arrived, they shipped on the same day and arrived the next. I can't imagine shopping anywhere else ever! Zappos rocks!
