I like the boot, but they are very hard to get on. I wish they had a zipper of a wider shaft. I have already torn the loop in back and having my shoe guy beef them up. Once on, they are comfortable and I like the look.

These boots are fantastic for the price. They are very attractive looking and I can wear them with any pair of jeans I own from slim to boot cut. They are a great cross between a beefy work boot and a dress boot. The leather is soft and flexible. Super quite and comfortable I really enjoy wearing these boots. They are tight to get on but once on they fit like a glove and are true to size. I have no regret with buying these boots and feel that my money was well spent.

Great boot with just the look I wanted. Comfortable for all-day wear, too. Yes, it's hard to get on/off, but the buckle unfastens just fine, and then it's easy. Whatever you do, though, don't try to pull it on using that rectangular "patch" on the back! (It'll come right off.)

Outstanding! First, they are very easy to put on and take off (you have to undo the buckle, yes it actually serves a purpose). The workmanship is absolutely perfect, stitching is strong, and the leather is supple and true. Comfort is excellent, and gripping makes it an all around perfect work/play boot. Note, the black is perfect for dress pants, and if you dress with a little European flare--they'll go perfect with chinos and jeans alike. My standards are very rigid, and this boot simply rose that standard to a new high. I thank you Zappos for another flawless purchase!

My foot is width E, this is width D which is normally okay, but this was too snug in the width. I had almost an inch from my big to to the end of the boot, so I'm definitely not going to try a size larger. Other than the personal width-challenge, it's a pity I have to return it, because it's a really sharp looking boot; I wish they offered it in a wider fit. If you have a narrow or medium width foot, it's definitely a good choice. Also if you wear orthotic-inserts, they also trim off the width available, so if you're a medium (D) width foot, you may find this tight until the leather stretches out to accommodate you.

Found these boots to very sturdy. They are nearly waterproof and with a little leather conditioner, very soft. Had a longer than normal break in time but great overall.

I normally take a size 8S, but these boots run about a half size bigger. The width is good, if a little tight until it's broken in. very nice boot. As always Zappos treats me like gold.

Fits about a half size too big. Had to send it back. Even if the lower part fit right the upper part on the calf would have been too loose, poor design.

Bought these for my better half who travels a lot and although takes a little effort to pull them on are very comfortable and can be worn all day with comfort. Would buy another pair with no question.

These boots are awesome! The fit is perfect. The styling is terrific too. The leather isn't stiff like you would expect. They feel great. And yes, you do have to undo the buckle to get them on.
