Just received them, overall a 2 1/2, thin, cheap leather, all rubber bottom even heel is total rubber, with plenty of glue making it stick together. Now for the positive, I can tell they copied the Tackhead boot, because I’ve tried those on, these are way lighter and 100% more comfortable, That is way I’m keeping them, for the comfort and well they don’t have to last more than 2 seasons anyway.

Brands I'd also recommend: Go for the Tackhead that boot will last.

So I wanted the Timberland Tackhead but for 1/3 the price I opted for the Colts. Smart choice. While I dig the styling and overall fit, be warned, they are a tad narrow. And the heel cup takes a bit of a break in period. But I will tell you for the price and style, you cannot go wrong.

This boot is extremely well constructed. My only complaint is that they are sized way larger than stated. I ordered a 7.5 that felt more like a size 9. But still a fantastic boot!

Look cool and are quite comfortable, but that's about it. I wore these almost every day for a few months. Very cheaply made. Tore original laces within a few weeks. Sole lost chunks of tread within a few months. "Leather" scuffs very easy and can't be polished. Save your money. Buy something American made with real leather that will last and that you don't have to baby. They are boots; they are meant to get dirty.

Fit was way off, long in the toes, tight at the widest part of the foot. Seemed narrow for the specified size. A shame they didn't fit, I liked the style.

True to size, but look narrow (a good thing). The soles are pretty stiff but they'll be better after some breaking in. Probably overall the best purchase I've made from Zappos.

These boots rule! Very comfy and very stylish! I wore them for the first time today and have already got 4 compliments on them. I did have to reorder a half size smaller than I originally ordered. It came the day after I ordered it. I haven't even had time to send back the big ones yet! Zappos rocks.

I love this boot. I tried on several Timberlands but they didn't fit my foot very well, plus I wasn't a fan of some of the reviews of the Timberlands saying that they don't last very long for the Earthkeepers collection. I liked the look of these boots and I had to order them in a half size smaller to get a proper fit but I do have skinny feet. They breathe and are very comfortable right from the get go, I would recommend these to anyone.

This is a great boot! I just received them a few days ago, but wanted to share my impressions. It is very comfortable for this style of boot. Granted it will take a bit to break them in completely like you would with any good boot. They have a really soft foot bed. They seem well made and I really like the styling. They look great with a pair of jeans for casual wear. With Zappos super quick shipping and no hassle, free returns, you can't go wrong. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable boot. I ordered one-half size larger than my normal size because I like to wear thick boot socks. They fit great!

These boots look great, however the quality is missing. The soles are glued on, not stitched to the leather. I wore them less than 10 times and the sole started to peal away from the boot. Zappos replaced them, but I am very skeptical as to how long they will hold up.

These are not good work boots. I was skeptical when they arrived that they would be, because they were so light, and the construction didn't seem terribly sturdy. If you are looking for some comfortable, affordable, stylish boots, these will work, but they aren't meant to be work boots. I have worn mine a little over a month in often wet and muddy conditions, and I am already seeing separation amongst the layers of the sole. This was my first pair of RJ Colt's, and so I'm not sure how well the construction is on their other styles.

Very well made and comfortable boot. The heel seems to be larger than I would normally prefer but the rest of the boot is incredible for the price. The leather is soft and finished well, the canvas is comfortable and offers good support.

Awesome boot. Great style, quiet, not bulky. Rated 4 in comfort because they are a little tight in the sides, but I'm still breaking them in. They have gotten better since I first put them on. Very comfortable all the way up the shin/calf (unlike my last set of Doc Martens). Those blistered the hell out of my feet/calfs as I was breaking them in but not the case at all with these. Love the Marine; paired with bootcut jeans these are just what I was hoping for.

Looks good- maybe a little narrow in the toe, but otherwise they're pretty comfortable.

So far the boots have held up well. I even dropped a steel panel on the toe, and while it did scratch the leather as would be expected, the toe box held up well. The boots are proving to be surprisingly comfortable and durable.
