Nice style, reasonably comfortable, but absolutely reeked of gasoline. I would not have been able to wear these into an office because of the odor. Maybe it would have worn off after a time, but that's not a reasonable out of box experience.

Nice looking shoes that I had to return. They are made with a petroleum based product and after several weeks of airing them out, the smell never went away. I returned them.

Looked and felt great -- just couldn't get beyond the smell! I figured the other reviewers had to be exaggerating some about the strong smell but I was wrong. It was so bad it made my wife nauseous.

Got these for my husband. First pair ordered in his normal size, returned for a half size smaller. While there is a noticeable smell for the first few weeks, it does dissipate. Depending on assignment, he can be on his feet at a post standing on cement, for 10 hours at a time. He has repeatedly said how glad he is that I got these for him.
